And you are allowed to play with those completely strangers for long? That's just annoying behavior, it's killing the fun of everyone. And you are removed. Or at least told to stfu. The same way you are removed/muted in Dota.
You have to earn the right to criticize someone. And that normally doesnt happen during one dota game. Especially not when it's retarded criticism "you are bad" instead of constructive one. And no - complimenting isnt allowing you to be a dick.
Apart from that, criticizing wont make the people play better. It's even putting them in the defensive position and probably makes them play worse / not care anymore about the current game. So you are hurting the whole team if you cannot just stfu. The other day I was playing bounty hunter. I got hit by a sven hammer, then drow silence and killed. I request some support in the lane because once drow is on me with frost arrows and silence I'm dead. No one switches, so every time I try for a few creep kills, I get caught out and killed. I ends up at the point that I have 10 creep kills, 3 deaths by 7 minutes. I tried to abandon the lane but everyone was yelling at me for letting drow free farm, so I kept going back (not that she wasn't still free farming). At this point though, I'm so far behind in items and sven/drow have been free farming all game, so they basically can tower dive me repeatedly. I was doing pretty well of getting out of the way as soon as I saw the dive coming... until everyone started calling me bad since drow has a shadowblade up now, how could I let her free farm. Of course I then star typing "I told you guys I'm getting owned in the wwwwwwwwwww"... nope, no wind walk, and I get killed while typing. I go back to the lane after respawning but now everyone starts saying "wtf, BH has already died 4 times to drow? Wow, gg noob". Again I wisely try to explain to them, and again chat is up and I can't wind walk away when I see them tower diving again, and again I die while typing. Super super annoying. And the point is, people can get a really rough lane that can snowball out of control and they can die a lot. It even happens in pro games. Did I play perfect? No. But could anyone even remotely near my skill level do any better? Definitely not. So those early deaths can definitely be from having a horrible situation, and no one ever when they flame looks at the situation and realizes that they would have not done any better in the lane. Sure, sometimes people do play really stupidly, but sometimes they don't play stupidly and they got a horrible lane without any support. If people have a really really bad KDA, you are basically flaming that person because matchmaking screwed that person over and put them way higher than they should be placed. That is not their fault, and they shouldn't be flamed and lose all desire to play because they got placed with really good players.
I've had quite a few experiences like this in the last month as a solo off laner in which any time the lane I have to lane agains't is either some kind of obsurd nuke stun slow nuke lanes (day skywrath came out venge/skywrath duo, needless to say it was rage inducing becauase they would either just nuked down my bear or stun me and then proce ed to nuke me to death even on and past my own towers) And all the rest of the team does is spew off the same your bad , fuck up, noob, don't play carries , (stereotypical) uninstall NAO (fagot/retard/idiot). And some times you just get a bad match in lane via it be hero countered or just the player is a higher skill level or is a pub stomp hero and the rules of reality just mold to it's idea of reality.
But for some reason everyone except the person who had a bad lad wants to accept it in any shape or form aside from negative and shallow criticism that the shitty lane happened and more or less didn't actually try to do well and is therefore bad. Like at that point either people should just give no input or be like go jungle or something because in a solo offlane if you can just give up on it and jungle its much better off for you to recover. But unless its some kind of team and is using half of their brain actually will be like oh ok I see whats going on and you informed me. But in pubs its like "lol stop feeding baddie wtf you in the jungle for you let the tower die moron"...
Much to do :/

I was AM with, brood, ursa, puck, ogre versus PL, axe, wr, spec, and slar. Everytime we went into their base my whole team would just get wiped. Even though I had a completely maxed inventory (travels, bf, manta, butterfly, abyssal, heart) when PL was still sitting on only diffusal, manta, and heart. But the game dragged out so damn long he eventually caught up, along with spec and wr. Eventually, after wiping my team in their base MULTIPLE times, they finally got the momentum to push across the map and end it and with me being the only one still alive there was just nothing I could do to stop the army of PLs. Quite possibly the most frustrating dota game I've ever played.
How could their team possibly push each lane of mega creeps and take down your tier 3 towers? Spectre and slardar could not even remotely push a mega creep lane (even a 6 slot specter would have trouble unless he had life steal).. Their pushing capacity is horrible, and an axe cannot tank wave after wave of megas...
Something must have gone horribly wrong.. 30 minutes of megas? No wayyy

I wonder about this sometimes when I end up as a stay-alive offlaner like weaver against a trilane or some crazy push/stun duo. Even if I do my job and not die, they're going to get the tower eventually because I can't exactly kill them or counter-push as quickly as they do.
Of course, I still get flamed for losing tower at 10 minutes when not a single person has even thought about leaving lane to do something to help. I once got flamed for "being a 0-0-0 feeder" too. I mean, really? Even if you think I've just been afk, the word for that is not feeder.

Love how i get flamed for my item choices everytime i play Luna. "Report noob luna omg look his items, this tranq boots and drums wtf no helm of dominator such noob" it happens like half my games, even if i completely dominate. The flamer here was a manaboots + 30min bloodstone skywrath mage, i mean... that sure is a legit complaint. It's like worse then when i went shadowblade on BH before they fixed it.

Anti QQ post.
i'm playing with 4 friends, some of them very rookie at the game. We get a lion player in AP as the 5th guys, that seems allright (i.e : he buys ward and go on the lane he's told). Everything is fine, except i've got a good QoP solomid in front of me (not so good magnus player). And all of a sudden, Lion starts bickering on my buddy playing DK (offlaning with hiim). Not too hardore but still annoying ("why did you let me die", "come on do something", "why don't you answer", etc.). On voice comm DK explains me he's carry so he's not doing anything risky, and he doesn't want to answer the Lion. So I try myself to put some senss into the Lion player, explaining DK is a friend of mine, does not know the game too much and that he should focus on the game isntead of harassing him on the chat. As the guys carries on, I tell him he's frankly annoying and that he needs to stop. Anyway, around 10 min into the game, Lion leaves explaining something along the line of "I'm not playing with a bad DK that won't even answer me". T T And this is when the anti QQ begins : it happened that the opposing team had no carry, and that they were not exactly super skilled either ( only really descent player was QoP). With our Drow/DK/Magnus/CM lineup we just starts to win teamfights one after the other (RP ftw !) and happens to just rollstomp them 4v5 Too bad for Lion ....

I didn't drop a sentry IN the camp. I dropped it about a quarter screen away and then dewarded the camp, which works every time. No problem. What they'd done, however, was DOUBLE block the camp with two wards and I couldn't find the second. I assumed the second had gone for the double block spot on the left side of the camp but it wasn't there, so I guess there must have been one in the third spot on the upper right. But since I had basically no money I couldn't afford additional wards to check the third typical spot. And nobody else thought it was smart to actually do something about the camp despite insisting on a trilane.
I'm not a goddamn idiot, thanks. I know how to deward a bloody camp. On reflection a temporary solution might have been to eat a couple trees and do a double pull, but it'd still need dewarding.

Calm down, you are rude. If they spent 2 wards (150-200 gp) to just block your easy camp, it is a serious investment in early game since wards provide bad vision if you try to block. So they invest gold to stop your stack but nothing else at the beginning of the game. Then you couldn't manage to brake 2 of them.
The trade gold with xp, all you should do is deny their creeps like a mad and win the trade. There is two places to place wards and deward your pulling camp. You can figure out from here: http://i.imgur.com/YwK9VRc.jpg

Not so much bragging (cause really we're jsut low level players) than showing that sometimes, things turn for the better ( I actually asked my teammates if we were to leave the game when Lion abandonned it because I thought we were screwed. Glad they declined).

Wow ok, quick maths lesson first: 2 wards to block with are 150 gold. To deward that you need detection, specifically sentry wards, which cost 200 gold, giving them an automatic 25 gold advantage per ward. So that "serious investment" results in a 50 gold advantage for you if they try to deward.
Secondly there are multiple places you can ward to block. From what I remember typical spots include within the camp itself, upper right hugging the trees and left which blocks two camps. Blocks to the back of the camp can be a real nuisance to deal with.

I played Lina and spent my entire game buying wards and supporting because no one else did. Nyx fails ultra hard vs OD mid who rapes us all. Suddenly he and his mate who plays ES blame me for being useless. I get reported and banned from chat for 24 hours. No more dota until the ban is gone I guess...or maybe ever.

yeah it sounds like a pain
if a team is gonna devote 2 obs to blocking a camp though it's probably worth the net -50 gold to get rid of their potential for 2 obs wards. if they're gonna burn their obs wards (which are limited and have cds and stuff) it's not too bad

Played in CM mode, Opponent drafter first banned pudge. Then proceeded to pick in order, TA, Tide, Spiritbreaker, Spectre and SA. He even went to ban out bounty and slardar to protect his SA pick.
His allies raged and went to rage feed for the rest of the game. What a waste of time.

Thanks for the math lesson even not necessary. But you definitely omitted to add 'xp' variable which all the wards are placed for. Hard lane try to gain xp by placing wards. Even if you wouldn't deward at all, you can deny and make wards not worth at all. Also you forget to add cd's. For radiant you can put one ward left and one ward right if you really want to deward without blocking anything.

No wayyy I'd like to see this game too. What's the Match ID?

Welp, A guy like this muted won't make much of a difference. But at least he can't grab attention by yelling GG NOOB TEAM anymore.
