On a serious note, the trend of farming mids seems to have reached the trench. While there's a lot of people fumbling around with Tinkers and Shadow Fiends (and recently PA), at least they're attempting to farm instead of spending 90% time wandering the map aimlessly trying to catch some poor supports out of position. | ||

Mid Silencer disconnects 30 seconds into match. We pause and wait 3 minutes for him. Turns out dota2 network is down. Unpause and agree to wait for abandon and leave before first blood Io on team feeds first blood with 1 minute left. Loss for me. | ||

That would make a lot more sense, cuz it seems the only way to benefit from the way I understand it is to just go to base and gamble that the DC'ed teammate won't come back, instead of actually trying to play | ||

Also i hate when the team decides to push 5v5 into tower when we are already behind. We get wiped and everyone is blaming each other despite we had no chance to win the fight. If i say i am not going there as it is a stupid idea, they call me an idiot and threaten with report. Some people just have no idea what is the team supposed to do and what to do when we are behind (definately not try to push into enemy tower and repeatedly feed). Last night I had one game where we're behind, not by a lot but a little. We're not in a position to turn around a teamfight or initiate but we can counter-initiate defensively and win them that way. But SF insists that we need to push. More precisely we need to split push. Split pushing being him running off by himself and getting 5 man ganked then screaming at the rest of the team because we're not blindly shoving middle in so we can get initiated on 4v5 and die horribly. We go on to win because we ignore him and manage to out-farm. I agree, people really, really don't know what to do when behind but the game is still winnable. For a bigger QQ: I get QOP mid. Against a Bristleback. Kill him a couple of times, outlaning him hard. Even with rotations on mid he can't kill. I get 6 with bottle and boots. Cool, lets gank. Nevermind, its too late already. Bottom has fed Riki so hard that he's level 6 already and god forbid either of them would actually buy dust. Top loses tower around this point too. Of the six kills on my team I've made 4 of them and assisted 2 but my team has racked up a monumental level of deaths, both lanes feeding hard. I just abandon. There's nothing you can do when your hard carries are 0-8-0 and 0-3-1 at 25 minutes with a total team score of 6-33. And I get Low Priority for six games as a result. Screw you, Valve. I'm not playing out a game that's already lost like that. Edit: Also bonus points in the game two before this one where I had a Magnus who repeatedly got RP stolen by Rubik and a Sand King who consistently ulted right as Abaddon's ultimate triggered, fully healing him before Axe could cull. | ||

I am a main support player, and I only win when someone is a good carry. The odds of that are 1-never. I am 1700mmr. And when I play carry everyone else is like "fuck you I carry" ;_; | ||
