Refresher should be somewhere in there on Necro too btw. Playing Necro lategame without refresher (and Agh) is honestly just wrong.

I mean you could put typical good-to-have items like ghost and force as situationl for 30 or 50 heroes or something. But the thing that stood out for me was: Warlock maxing FB? Im pretty sure every time pros try that hero out its for upheaval since all its recent buffs. And even if its not straight up lvl 7 upheaval max its certainly SW over FB. FB is cute and can be annoying to face during laning, so 1 or maybe max 2 points in it for laning could be argued is good (i'd argue against it but my opinion, so whatever) but I see absolutely no reason to max FB by 7. The hero doesnt do anything after laning until like lvl 13 or so with that build. Granted theres no "standard" build since very few plays the hero and almost never seen in competitive games, but where exactly is this build coming from? Refresher should be somewhere in there on Necro too btw. Playing Necro lategame without refresher (and Agh) is honestly just wrong. fb isnt a laning skill its a teamfight skill. lvl 7 fatal bonds + ulti + whatever else your team has = a lot of fking damage. people seem to favour upheaval more these days but fatal bonds is still legit. shadow word is probably the worst spell warlock has. absolutely dont need any more than 2 lvls in it during the laning stage

I think bonds>upheaval unless you have a ton of other teamfight you can depend on. The main problem with bonds is that lots of warlocks refuse to ult before using bonds, which leads to them walking in close and getting blown up.

fatal bonds is way better in lane but thats rarely very relevant for support warlock.

But sure, upheaval is good too. So long as he doesn't max shadow word I think either is fine.

You simply can't rely on pub cores to get it, and your team usually still needs it even if your hero is a poor carrier. To be honest I'd have agreed with this in full before patch 6.82 but I think now its necessary to be more careful with it. With the considerable increase in mana cost it can be very difficult to sustain on a poor carrier now. So while I agree with your comment that every support should at least consider it, I'm not sure how beneficial it would be to just stick it on every non-blink support guide. If that was done it would probably need some qualifying comments about it.

I love your guides, and they really helped me understand each hero as I started learning the game. I've made a few guides for some heroes I play differently to you, and I think they're targeted towards people who have a basic understanding of the class. I would love to have feedback from an experienced guide maker such as yourself. http://steamcommunity.com/id/Antisceptic/myworkshopfiles/?section=guides&appid=570 Also, sorry for posting this on your Steam page, it's understandable you don't want this sort of post there.

Okay, so I won't make any corrections on your item choices or skill build because that's entirely up to you to decide and figure out.
I think that's pretty much it to be honest. If you're making guides for more advanced people, then you can definitely add more items, but separate them more clearly. Throwing everything into Situational ultimately makes them all unclear (unless someone reads them all). That's my opinion at least (: Know your audience you want to target and then frame it with their knowledge and interest to use the guides (quick-reference or breakdown of how to play a hero?)

When I first started making guides it was for fun and for my own use. I think I forgot that other people might actually find them useful and I need to put all of my thoughts in writing rather than just putting the bare bones in the descriptions to jog my own memory when playing. I'll see if I can flesh them out some more. Thanks again. ![]()
