My first one was the MX500, which was legendary good. It was in use for about 9 years, until the left button started to miss like every 20th click. Nowadays my old MX500 serves as a mouse for my Laptop, when I work on it. There was noooo other mouse I've been looking for I just wanted another MX... so it is the MX518 since the beginning of the year. ![]() I can recommend this mouse to everyone looking for HIGH quality mouse for a good price. This looks like a love letter and it is. I was really really upset when my MX500 kinda broke <3

Tell me what mouse you use I have experience with many mice ranging from Razers to Logitechs and just now I am favoring steelseries mice. Now my hand rests in a palm grip but when playing Stacraft 2 my palm comes off the mouse into a claw/fingertip grip as you mentioned. Since I started using it I have been extremly satisfied with the mouse, it makes my deathadder generations 1 & 2 look cheap and fisherprice like in comparison. It does not feel cheap, the death adder around the thumb buttons has a cheap glossy plastic that is obviously done for visual appeal the xai isn't given any radical LEDs or shiny plastics. The only thing the deathadder had that I enjoyed is the feel of the scroll wheel but for Starcraft 2 the ammount of scroll wheel scrolling that is done is minimal. At the same time the scrollwheel steelseries makes is quite excellent its just not as big, which may be better once you get used to it. I like the Ikari because its made just for right hand users, xai is amidexterous which I am not a huge fan of because unless I plan on getting my right hand chopped off it is sort of meaningless. I love the shit out of it however. Another thing I noticed about the xai is that my hand doesn't heat up using it for a long time, or rather it doesn't sweat. The mouse doesn't have tons of lights in it and the screen on the bottom it does have you can turn off or disable the brightness. Razer mice make my hands sweat even when the lights are turned off. Give me more details and I can probably help you out.

Buy this mouse and you will never ever worry about pm mouses (perhaps some which sneak in your house in rl..). We had this topic so many times. You have like 3 choices, a standart 0€ mouse, a expensiv razor mouse or the equal good but less expensiv and more endurable mx518. If you want to buy a mouse, just read a few tests of mx518 and vs razor, and you will see noone ever complains about the mx518. It's the perfect mouse.
