i dunno really what to say aside from as much RAM as you need (is 8GB really not enough? For that, you'd have to buy 4GB and not 16GB..)

I would prefer it to be under 800 but 950 is the max. What is your monitor's native resolution? 1920x1080 What games do you intend to play on this computer? What settings? Street Fighter (max), Arma 2, Arma 3, Doto 2, CS:GO, SC2, EUIV. I'm not too concerned about graphics as long as they're not putrid and it runs well. Dual channel RAM is preferable to a single stick as well. They're not that great, you're better off asking in this thread really. A copy of windows does indeed cost $100, though there are other ways to obtain it for much less if you'res resourceful. One example is to use MS's Dreamspark program if you're a student. | ||

I am looking to build a desktop that can run any modern game on decent setting for as cheap as possible. Maybe 600 tops. I do have everything outside of a tower. I wanted to use ongoing deals too. Please advice if you can, I would rly appreciate. Thank you so much. | ||

I noticed that Newegg has the Rosewill Capstone 450-M for $55. (Or, $35 after $20 rebate card? Is that a normal rebate that you send in or something special to Newegg?) Seems like a good replacement for the Corsair 430W that GeneralStan recommended for $45.
