EPTNow the reason why I want to do this is because I'm currently staying at a hotel, and for some reason which is beyond my comprehension, starting up starcraft causes me to be unable to connect to the internet for exactly 5 minutes. I don't get why/how the hell it works at all, especially since I am able to actually play starcraft if I get past the launcher and then reconnect to my wifi. I'm not going to linger on my mysterious wifi outages much since that's not my biggest problem.
My sc2 launcher won't recognize that there's an update because launching it causes me to lose internet connection. I've located a download for the latest patch but I have no idea how (if possible) to manually install it. I've checked the forums here already but the only topics were like 3 years old.
Thanks in advance if anyone can give advice... or if they can come up with a reason why my internet mysteriously derps for 5 minutes after starting sc2.
... any ideas on that?
