Someone said the AOC isn't flicker-free but I'm not sure how horrible that is. It's very subjective and afaik it also depends highly on the pwm frequency of that particular monitor as well as the brightness you want to use | ||

 Thanks!I get a nice 60fps/60hz on Displayport 1.2, so everything feels a lot smoother now. I don't know how people live with 30hz haha | ||

then again, windows aero theme instead of basic feels really bad too (some form of vsync?), just not nearly as bad as losing half or more of your refresh rate | ||

You CAN get some overclockable options, but they're all far worse in performance (latency, motion blur etc) so they're at best a step above 60hz but not close to the "true" 144hz tn experience. It also helps to have ULMB, which is in my experience far far better than Gsync for CSGO and similar games. I have not actually tried gsync in person (would love to) but having 1/12'th of the motion blur of a good 60hz tn or a ~100hz IPS is a serious unfair advantage | ||
