Hi everyone, I just got my Logitech G510 keyboard today, and I was really excited about, because I'd finally have some media keys(play/pause, stop, previous, next) again to administer music without having to tab out of games. Sadly the keys only seem to work if I have iTunes in focus.
I've tried browsing around the net, but mostly found old solutions that don't seem to work anymore, and just solutions that didn't do anything.
I've enabled HID and enabled the full keyboard navigation in iTunes, but still didn't work.
If anybody knows how to make them work in iTunes without having to have the actual iTunes window up, I'd be very happy!

Aha, finally a thread where I can help! My keyboard has multimedia keys too, and I had the same problem. You need a dll called mmkeys.dll. Just google 'mmkeys itunes', it's pretty simple.

It doesn't work, I've already tried that along with the HKTunes as well. Neither are up to date anymore due to new iTunes updates it would seem.

Oh dear I've solved it now. Apparently it's because my Microsoft keyboard installed something called itype, which you basically just go to the jobslist and shut down. Works perfectly now. Ty for your reply though Havok! :D
