It's not advertised as a claw mouse, but I am a claw style user in-game, and a fingertip user when I'm lazy and/or browsing the web.. It works extremely well for me, and I highly recommend it. There are a lot of mice that work well with different grip styles. The Imperator I have is the first-gen one, and has 5600 dpi max, which is more than most on the market. I would recommend you go to your nearest Best Buy, often times they have an array of mice on display for you to toy around with and see which fits your palm the best! Hope this helped. Looks like it has a "4G Dual Sensor System". I wonder if it's even better than the 3,5G sensor in the Deathadder and Abyssus.

I'm currently using the Razer Salmosa (asian edition) which is perfect except that it only has 1800 dpi which is too slow for me. I'm thinking 3000 dpi or higher would suffice. Any ideas? The perfect mous for you will be the RAZER ABYSSUS - small mouse - very very light - 450 / 1800 / 3500 dpi AND - it's a cheap mouse. I bought it for 25€ I love this mouse so much. I'm a claw grip user too, and I'm so glad I found this one in the store around the corner.

1) Spawn has a better sensor (one of the best on the market). 2) If you have a dark mousepad you can install the lastest firmware on the Spawn and have an incredibly low lift-off distance. 3) Abyssus is known for it's problems on cloth mousepads as well as having jitter issues. It is said that there is a revised firmware version of the Abyssus but there isn't a way you can know which version is installed in it until you buy it and test it out for yourself. (you cannot change the firmware yourself) 4) Spawn has rubber sides while Abyssus has glossy plastic which can be a bit slippery if your hands sweat. 5) I used Razer Krait for two years and used to get cramps in my hand because it was too narrow so my thumb and pinky used to curl up too much (it didn't help that it had slanted sides - wider at the top, narrower at the bottom). When I compare my hands now my pinky on the right hand is more curled inwards than on the left hand - due to mouse holding. :/ Abyssus is the same as Krait in that perspective and even though some say the Spawn is too wide, I find it really comfortable to hold.
