The sound produced by switches are very similar across different keyboards, so this should be good enough for your purposes. It even has o-ring sounds included ![]()

Thinking about getting the red switch version of it when it comes out, if the one out already has positive reviews. pretty sure its already out with reds, and you can find it on some websites in asia $10 shipping to US so like $120 + import fees so no more than $130-135 at the most. http://global.pchome.com.tw/?mod=item&func=exhibit&IT_NO=DCAH28-A58428401&SR_NO=DCAH28&ROWNO=4&tm=u how to order off pchome http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?12854-PChome-(Taiwan)-20-Worldwide-Shipping-Promo shipping on this one is $50 so the pchome is probably a better deal, this guy also has the CM storm w/ blues for $89.99 http://www.ebay.com/itm/CM-STORM-Quick-Fire-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard-add-50-xornet-gaming-mouse-/320825091326?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item4ab2aa64fe

Thanks blackwidow sound is more of a "click" sound. bw stealth being a brown keyboard is more of a "clack" sound. they are both loud. brown is slightly louder but a lower pitch. http://www.pcworld.com/article/242037/mechanical_keyboard_faq_pick_the_right_switch.html

They are very good. I have both a filco and CM storm and there is almost no difference in quality.

As long as it is a standard layout yes. From a short googling session it seems the Zowie is standard in ISO, but the bigass enter version might give you some problems. Oh and the WASD spacebar won't fit.

On the Razer site, with shipping, it comes out to about $95, while the regular BW is about $70 on Amazon. It's not that great of a value if I need to buy it from the Razer site. I think the Blackwidow Stealth edition is Razer site's exclusive, but since I had some credit at Amazon I just ordered the regular edition along with an Abyssus mouse from Amazon. A total of $99.96.. I'm not really picky on these things, so I'm happy for the price.

Fakts: I read in a german forum (hardwareluxx.de) that several people complaint about the KeyCaps. Some of them seem to be fissured/chinky/cracked - not all the way brocken but cracked a bit(?) (sorry I'm not a native, but I think you know what i mean). Maybe they cracked them theirselves when removing them from the keyboard - I dunno, but it scared me off that QPads. I'm not saying that they are bad. Maybe one should give them a try...
