You can get the boards in almost any flavour of switch you like. I believe the only difference between mk50 and 80 is that the 80 has back lit keys. The 85 has that, nkro over USB and software configuration. edit: http://qpad.com/products/keyboards/MK50/

I have a CM Storm Quick Fire Ultimate. How do I change to N key Rollover and 1MS response time? I thought I can do it by pressing FN + DEL and FN + - on the number pad, but that doesn't seem to be the case? When I press that, it just deletes adds a "-" so I assume it's not on N key rollover mode either.

So I gotta take a 12 hours flight with my mechanical keyboard in my luggage.
Do I need to worry about the keys being clicked throughout all the flight or is there a better way to carry it?
Hand baggage is not an option.

I want to get a mechanical keyboard primarily to work on. Programming, but also rts play. I'd like to spend under $110 CDN. I am most interested in comfort/ergonomics, but I like to tap on my lap too with my feet up so it needs to also work for that

(I don't like the spacing of the black widow keys)

Can anybody suggest a shortlist for me to look into? Thanks ahead

Is it safe to soak the keycaps in hydrogen peroxide and will it discolor them? Or should I just stick to warm water or use something else?

Just use water if you are worried about discoloring, it works fine. Hydrogen peroxide is used to retro bright, and can potentially ruin your caps. (Not to say it definitely will, but again water works fine.)

Okay, so I need some help. I was planning on buying a Leopold FC770R (good idea right?) and have finally found someone who ships to NZ at a non-retarded price. However, I cannot figure out what switches are on the keyboard as it is a Korean site. Can anyone help?

I know it comes in those different colors. I worked that out by the images at the bottom. What i can't work out is which one i would be getting. Is the actual sale for a red or blue or. ..

Also what is everyone's opinion on the fc750r? As good as the original Leopold?

I went through every listing for the FC750R on Gmarket; they are either not specified or sold out for the browns. Widebasket on eBay ships them for 174USD. I've bought multiple products from them and never had a problem. That's probably in the vicinity of what you'd pay to ship from Gmarket anyways.

Okay, cheers mate. To get one from Gmarket to NZ would be around 180NZ, to buy from widebasket is 230nz before shipping and they don't state how much shipping is. How much was it for shipping to the states? I am assuming it must be fairly similar?

I paid 166.32 USD for my FC700R from Gmarket and 179.99 USD for my FC750R from Widebasket.

Note that the shipping estimate may not be entirely accurate depending on the estimated weight vs. actual weight. The listing for my FC700R was for 1kg, but the package was weighed in at 2.9kg. I ended up paying an additional 18 USD than what I had originally anticipated.

Edit: Widebasket listings for FC750R are all with free shipping.

O wow, thanks very much for your help man. Makes my life a lot easier. You are a champion. Now the age old question, which colour! I love the white keyboard but my fear is it goes dirty looking lol.
