Use warm water and dish soap.

Having trouble deciding between these three.

Of course the Ducky looks great because of LEDs, but I've heard the Shine 3s had trouble with them burning out quickly, haven't heard much on the 4s yet.

I hear Filco and Das both are better constructed (slightly) than Ducky, but without personal experience, I am not sure how much of a factor that really plays into things.

Help me choose someone :D ty in advance.

Had this trouble with a ducky shine (think it was the 2). Luckily happened just inside the warranty period. Still not good in my eyes, a premium priced product going kaput so soon isn't good.

In retrospect the price is perhaps high due to the blingy nature of the lighting, though the dip switches sure are a nice feature. These days I'm using a qpad mk80 with black switches, so far so good & most happy.

Spilled soda on my Filco, now the switch of the left Alt-key is all sticky, is there a way to easily clean or replace a single switch?

They are all solid board, between the three the Filco is the nicest imo. Das is well and good, Ducky probably trumps Das in terms of gaming reputation though I doubt quality.

Hello guys,

so my "a" key just broke on my keyboard. It just stopped working midgame and I can't seem to fix it. Given that this is not the first time I hd this kind problem(using 6gv2) I'm looking to buy a new one for good now.

any recommendtions?
I'm looking for mid class keybord, nothing fncy. Between 50 ~ 100 € would be perfect(But 150€ is bsolute mx if the keybord is worth it). I could use a smaller one than the 6gv2 since I have rther small hands.

also I'm copypsting a's which is suuper annoying.

edit:

Forgot to add, I prefer MX black switches.

I never use num pad so no need, especially if it sves spce, but if the keyboard is good I wouldn't mind one.

Noppoo Choc Mini is a pretty great little board imo, also a little attention grabber as well. I have it at work with browns.

Would also recommend Leopold.

Seems like both aren't really avilble in europe :/

It's always tough to find these more "niche" keyboards over here.

I'm a spoiled American in that regard, and I'm going to Korea so I am sure as shit going to drop some coin on a super niche mech. Europe availability is unfortunate.

Leopold is available through Qtan's worldwide shop. I recently got my Poker 2 from him. It's awesome.

Depends. The Steelseries is using black switches, the blackwidow ultimate ''cheaper'' blue switches and the K70 you can pick between Blue, Brown, Red. It's up to you. In general, red has been getting a lot of popularity for gaming and I have to say I'm in love with mine. Browns/blues are more ''overall'' switches, they feel great when typing too because of the tactile feedback. Blues are slightly heavier to press than browns/reds and are also much noisier. I found double tapping to be easiest on reds (of course.) It doesn't really matter I guess. You shouldn't look at brands as much as what you like the look of + what switch type you like.

@Thalandros:

Looks great actually, might check the keybords there out!

Through a little googling I found the CM Storm Pro Rpidfire in a german onlineshop with MX Red switches(so a little different than black, but still linear). (The on that is backlit and TKL -> https://www.alternate.de/CM-Storm/QuickFire-Rapid-I-Tastatur/html/product/1149326?event=search)

I've never used a CM keyboard before, any experience on that? Is it good? The cost & size looks great for me.

also, the BlackWidow Tournament Edition Stealth looks good as well. I'm using a razer mouse(abyssus) and am pretty happy with tht. re their keybords good as well? Their Orange switches should be similr to MX Red switches.

CM keyboards are generally well-built from my own using experience and also from many internet reviews. The old Quickfire Rapid was really good and built by Costar. Not sure about oem of the new Rapid-i (backlit) but quality-wise it should be good as well. If you like the look I would recommend it over Razer keyboard

Regarding Razer orange switch, it's a Kailh switch and not Cherry MX switch. Is it good or bad? No idea. Kailh switch claims to have longer lifespan and other things, but they are relatively new in this kb switch as compare to Cherry. Some info can be found here. Overall people like Cherry and flame Kailh because of Cherry's good reputation and being made in Germany compared to China-made "copycat" Kailh. But whatever no flame up to you to decide.

That goes in line with what I've read online, so I'll probably get the CM Storm Quick Fire Rpid-i! If it's not working for me I can send it back in that shop
