Heard good things about it but wondering if any TLers had one. I purchased this keyboard with blues as my first and only mechanical and I'm really happy with it. I don't know a ton about other mechanical keyboards or even tried any other one, but the keyboard feels compact but not cluttered, solid and I like the elevation (no oddly high row of keys anywhere) and feel of the keys. I haven't had any issues like wobbly space bars or anything that I see people mention about some of the lower end mechanicals. My biggest fault to this keyboard so far is the red LEDs on caps lock and scroll lock ARE SO EFFING BRIGHT. THE GOGGLES, THEY DO NOTHING!!

It's like a gay clothes designer pimped your keyboard. Sorry if i offended you and your keyboard We all have different style!

It's relatively cheap (a little over $60 USD after shipping) and has a cheaper tenkeyless version. I figured it would be a good buy just for work purposes. They seem like a good value buy and I haven't heard any bad feedback about it yet. Has anyone else used this board or Green ALPS switches before? Does anyone know if they are comparable to Cherry Blues?

I recently got my hands on a friend's Corsair K60 with cherry MX red switches and I really liked it, and the rubber keys are a nice addition. However I was thinking about getting something fancier - and the Corsair's casing is made out of brushed aluminum so it would probably get all disgusting in weeks because my hands get all swampy when I game. Right now my biggest contenders were the Das Keyboard Silent for $135 and Filco Majestouch 2, 104 keys for $150, both of which use brown switches. Filco's keyboard are essentially "no bullshit" which is great, and from my understanding the build quality is excellent - but can you actually feel the difference in quality between a $80 Razer BlackWidow and $150 Filco, assuming they both use the same switches?

That's why there's lube for the keyboard. Just pop off the keycap (be careful with the stabilizer), lube the parts, then replace the keycap. Squeaky key be gone. This is a common issue with the majority of mechanical keyboards of all brands, models, etc.

Yes the Cm logos are annoying, but if you're into key cap customisation, the logos are a quick fix. Except you'll still have the rubberized body logos. There is a brown key version, might pick that up. The brown switches are the only ones I have not tried.

I think it's alright except that I've had the spacebar key pop out twice for no reason, which strikes me as unreliable. Plus, it's loud - and even though I knew what I was getting myself into when I bought it, my gf's eventually going to gut me if I don't get something at least a little bit quieter. The filco will definitely feel a lot more solid. The razer blackwidow top plastic cover has a lot of flex, probably because they use that gey glossy surface.

Yeah, I don't think the Logos will bug me too much since I don't look at the keyboard much anyway. But at least from the few people who have responded I made a good choice.

Anyways, I'm in the market again but this time I researched a lot and came to the conclusion that brown switches are the best for me. Can you guys recommend me some good boards? It must have media keys (volume up and down) I'm leaning towards the Zowie Celeritas at the moment. It has everything I need plus a hand rest. The RTR technology seems pretty cool for MMORPG games as well when you need to spam those keys as fast as possible. Anyone have any input on this board? I can't seem to find much people using it. I also heard the space bar problem can be easily fixed if you call them and ask for a replacement.

I got a QPAD MK-50 with MX-reds since last year and to be honest, I absolutely fell in love with those switches. Now - I would like to use a device with MX-Reds at work as well. But, of course, a gaming keyboard would be out of place at my office. I'm currently using a standard cherry G80 keyboard with MX-blacks What would be my best option? I've seen that rosewill keyboard, but I'm reading lot's of complaints about the usb cable.
