I currently own a logitech stand microphone http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836111601 and I've had it for a while. I also own a DAS keyboard which has blue keys so it is very very loud. I obviously don't mind it very much but when I try and stream on a regular basis, my keyboard sometimes overruns my voice and it deters viewers (I assume). Are there any good microphones that aren't too pricey that can pick up my voice and as little of my keyboard as possible? I wouldn't mind a headset either but I use the Sennheiser HD555's at the moment.
Note: It's a stand mic so obviously it will be louder than a clip-on microphone (both on the same desk). I also used to have a Zalman clip-on mic before I had the keyboard but the problem was that I would always roll over the cord and it eventually split.

Cherry blue sounds are sexy, I don't see the problem.

One thing you might want to try is sticking a small sponge or foam underneath the microphone or just anything that reduces the transmitted noise from the desk to the microphone. Beyond that I'm not too sure what else you could do.

Jeez, do you try to kill your keyboard? I don't know if you check out of his stream or not but, Destiny has the exact same keyboard as you and despite his key strokes being as audible as yours, his are actually pleasing to the ears unlike yours where it literally sounds like you are trying to destroy your keyboard.
Is it possible that you can position so that you can minimize the sound of you thumping your keyboard? Perhaps place the mic behind you so that its further away from the keyboard and closer to you?

wrap your keyboard in cloth to muffle the sound psh you dont need to see a keyboard to type on it.

Destiny might have the silent edition (they sound like brown switches, not blue). I could be wrong though. I own a cherry blue mech kb and it sounds a lot different from Destiny's das.

Destiny has blues, browns sound completely different.
But it sounds like the OP is bottoming the keys too hard.

Oh, sorry. My Leopold/Filco does sound a lot different though.. I looked up a comparison guide and the das has a duller sound. source

Sure, you can bottom out blues if you like. But blues are great for touch typing. It's a skill you might want to learn, you will do actions much faster and use much less force for keyclicks. Blues actuate halfway, so you only half to press the key halfway to actuate it. I feel the clicks are only audibly annoying when you mash the keys.

Wow you can actually hear the audio feedback it is picking up through the table. Either the mic stand is just next to your DAS or you are pecking your way through the DAS.
I would suggest a clip-on mic, with your HD555! Get an extension cord for your mic and wiggle it around your cord on HD555.

Use something adhesive and stick it to the wall.

i totally get a boner when people in teamspeak complain about me spamming my sexy filco blue ^^

Get a noise-canceling microphone, like the ones from Plantronics. I think most gaming headsets also have noise-canceling mics. They reduce the low levels in your audio, and make keyboard sounds more bearable.

Via http://www.ergocanada.com/ergo/keyboards/mechanical_vs_membrane_keyswitches.html
IMPORTANT NOTE: Many people who are used to Membrane Keyboards will press the keys down too far on a Mechanical Keyswitch, 'bottoming out' on every keystroke, resulting in a loud clack in addition to the light click of the keyswitch which is generated half-way through the key travel distance. Once a user learns to not press the keys completely down with every keystroke, the level of noise generated when typing on a mechanical keyswitch keyboard is substantially reduced.

The reason why my keyboard sounds alot louder is because it is on the same desk as the keyboard + it is alot cheaper than destiny's microphone. I'm sure im not hitting my keyboard too hard because it's the same volume no matter how much pressure i put on it for the keys to register. Are there any "noise cancelling microphones" that arent from headsets, clip-ons?. I will try the sponge/cloth trick later today . Thanks guys.

Clip-on mics, unlikely, but you can search. They use those kinds of mics in professional settings, so they may exist, but they'd be very expensive. You could also get a directional mic + stand + pop filter like the pro casters do, but again, fairly expensive. I guess it just depends on how much you're willing to spend.
