EPTI tried it on another tv and it ran fine (It was plugged in VGA) but now if I try either VGA or HDMI, it's the same result.

![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/Omw3N.jpg) i have my comp hooked up to my 40 inch LCD tv using the HDMI port from the GPU to the HDMI port on my tv....looks great! what resolution are you getting? i know the tv has to support the res the GPU is displaying or it comes up as " no signal" on the tv. | ||

Starcraft only runs in 640 x 480 I believe which is a 4:3 Ratio and your Widescreen Tv is 16 : 9. | ||

- I'll try the stretch thing. - I'm aware of the resolution changer but I think it's considered as a cheat. I also want to play it with regular resolution. Thanks nonetheless guys. | ||

IMO, if you're going to get a 30inch tv, it's not worth it buying 1080p since you won't notice anything tv/movie/cable-wise, and it's a lot more expensive than 720p. But if you get a 720p, you'll have a big screen with low-res. I'd just stick with getting a 21"-24" with high res, since it's like 1/2 the cost and actually functional and not counter-productive. But if you're just doing it for the wow-factor, more power to you. It's fun, but it gets old. For me anyways. (I have a dedicated 42" screen for one of my computers. After some time, I discovered I had to lower the resolution so I can see everything from far away, or I have to sit really close, which defeats the whole purpose. It has more/less become a dedicated HTPC. Nothing to do office work or play competitive games on like SC2 or League of Legends -- but it's nice for SW: Unleashed 2 and Need for Speed.) | ||
