It is only a few months old and I would hope to negate a lot of the cost of a new one. if you can get a good price for it, yes, if you cant, no. if you have evga, use the step up program (i think its 90 days?). it will be good for maxing out most games for another year or two.

He clearly has no idea what the fuck he's doing, there's no reason in hell to be causing mass EM interference over a whole area, that's insanity. Besides being really annoying, that could actually be really dangerous if people aren't able to get emergency calls through on their cell phones. That's like saying you don't want to report an arsonist because burning things is his hobby... It doesn't seem to cause a problem with cell phone reception. I have no idea why, or if that means wireless networking is also immune.

I have no idea why, or if that means wireless networking is also immune. Well cell phone frequencies of 850 MHz / 1900 MHz / whatever are a lot lot higher than radio station broadcasts. And of course Wi-Fi operates at a little higher than those cell phone frequencies. Most of the other things you described work at lower frequencies. The wiring on the speakers could be acting as an antenna and you could essentially be demodulating down the broadcast, frequencies for TV aren't too much far off from radio broadcasts, and so on.

Ah, I don't think that I am eligible, I built this too long ago. But should I get a 680? Or AMD? People were saying that the 680 was not a very good card for some reason, I didn't really understand what the conclusion of all that was.

Here's a consolidated list: http://www.overclock.net/t/1232614/various-nvidia-geforce-gtx-680-review-retaking-the-performance-crown "People" for "some reason" doesn't mean anything at all. It's the highest-performing single graphics card on the market. If you want that for $500, it's your choice.
