The one I used has the option to power off after removing the driver, at which point you can swap in the new card. Lets you swap without having Windows trying to fight with drivers from two vendors. I did that once with an AMD driver utility. Sadly, it took out more than just the display drivers - to include USB drivers and a few other things. (It did warn me beforehand, though.) It's good to nuke the drivers from orbit, just to make sure.

You can use whatever you want as a sender address. It is very, very simple to forge an e-mail. A quick google result: http://www.wikihow.com/Forge-Email Basically, the e-mail header containing the sender-address is just plain text, and when you send the e-mail you can write whatever you want into the header because noone is going to verify if the time or the sender is correct.

I have a cooler master 600W and am looking for one that can connect to it and my 960. I think I'm looking for one of these + Show Spoiler + But I'm not sure which one to get or if they have any real differences. Only the gold-series version is in stock and I'm not sure if it would work for me since I don't know if gold series makes a difference

It's really weird to not have a 6-pin pci-e connector. They're essential on almost any PSU.

Is there any way I can hook these up? Preferably without spending very much money, as I'd rather just hook up a laptop to the TV to play from there otherwise.

If it does not have that, it needs to be a more expensive adapter to create a digital signal out of the analog one, or you need some random graphics card.

The only thing "720p" really means is that the video is 1280x720 pixels. There's no standard as to the bitrate or encoding used. 720p on one stream does not mean it's the same as 720p on another.

Which takes less ressources (for computer), html5 (youtube) or adobe flash player (twitch)? Twitch uses HTML5 now actually, but it seems to still use Flash for embeds and maybe some browsers. (maybe not 100% HTML5, i'm a bit out of the loop there) I feel that live stream on youtube 720p takes more bandwith than twitch 720p Not true if the broadcaster is streaming @720p, the same encoded video stream is sent regardless of the player being used. It can also easily be saved locally at the same time and then uploaded to any site or played in any player for comparison purposes, in that case you're just outputting the final video result to both internet and hard drive at the same time I can not say that youtube stream is more fluently than twitch but quality is much better (no pixel at all) See above ~ If you checked with identical encoding settings and gameplay, you'd see quality approximately the same. Both twitch and youtube have a setting that just displays the video as sent from the broadcaster - it's the cheapest way to display it - they don't edit that in any way. The step-down quality settings below what the broadcaster is broadcasting at are re-encoded using different settings, so will differ site-to-site. That's pretty much the only time that anything different is expected. It's best to avoid those in most cases due to quality losses, worse effective quality at the same bitrate (due to going through lossy encoding twice instead of just encoding to the worse quality from the source material) and added delay which can be very substantial - but if you need to use them, you need to use them. There could easily be a situation where youtube takes a 5mbit, 1080p30 stream and decides that the 720p version should use 3mbit, while twitch decides that the 720p version should use 2mbit. That would result in two vastly different bitrates, showing increased bandwidth usage and quality for one site over the other (but not neccesarily making one better) Actual -playback- smoothness can vary, especially since flash player likes to stutter and drop frames on a variety of high powered systems for no reason at all. That would just make flash player video less smooth, but of the same quality if nothing else is changed under the hood

I want an HD monitor so if I watch DVD movies/stream netflix it's in good quality. Also, I mainly play BW and OSU sometimes SC2 or CSGO. I do a lot of reading/typing on the computer. I would also maybe like to connect an Xbox One to it and use it as a TV? Thanks for the help Edit: Price range: < $200. Size: ~24" So a while ago I made this post and today I saw on newegg they were having a sale on this ultrawide monitor. Is this a decent buy for what I was looking for? I don't have much experience with ultrawide monitors and whether or not they're more of a burden than not with the 21:\9 ratio. www.newegg.com
