Additional demand of CPU & GPU if I use a 2nd monitor? I need a imagination why to have a 2nd monitor is useful (no job related things). I can imagine that 2nd is disturb me if I play a game on 1st (lightening from 2nd to my face directly).
edit: bit odd to think that two 24" are equally wide as my 50" TV.
Demand on the CPU/GPU side is minimal, if any. As for "why i need second screen", it's all up to you. All I can say is: once you go black..wait, wrong quote. Once you try working on two screens, then you won't go back to single one. But of course, that depends a lot on what you need - some people are using second screen to help them while working (for example, having code in one monitor and debug/documentation on other one for programming purposes) or even just having more space to better organize themselves. Myself I tent to have music player or some stream running on my second monitor while I do other stuff on main display.
As for gaming - not a problem really. I have very dark background graphic, but if second screen id "glowing" too much, you can always turn it off while playing.

thanks, but I still doubt that 2nd monitor is useful for me. I am used to use what (how much) I need and nothing more. I hate to have unnecessary stuff, I dont parking them in stowage, I give it away to my friends/family member for free.
I do understand that 2nd is useful for (some) jobs or programs as you explained, but using 2nd for music player or something like that is nothing for me, I think.

2'nd just gives you a lot more freedom; a single screen of any size is still limited in many of the same ways that a single smaller screen is. No matter how big your screen, i think a second one is a lot of benefit - but it's hard to really explain without saying grab one and use it for a week
2x screen of the same size looks quite odd; i like a smaller secondary screen or maybe an IPS set up vertically (so it's tall and thin)

How to do that "device manager" tells you that SSD is on AHCI? Because of that I can't do the restoration of evo840. Samsung magician and BIOS say AHCI.

Well using my laptop this just happened (the key popped out of its spot - bottom bit still holding on)
![[image loading]](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CM42sZnWgAQLuET.jpg)
I have no clue how to fix it as it doesn't seem to click back in which seems to be what should happen according to youtube. I also don't want to completely rip it off.
Is there a decent resource I can find some info on how to replace the key? I can't find one for my laptop in particular and my google fu is failing me while I try to work on my thesis.
Help would be appreciated.
If I am better off just ordering the entire key and plastic switch bit I am willing to do so, just need to know where to go to do it also.

Laptops usually use scissor switches iirc. Probably worth taking it off completely then putting it back on. You'll have to find instructions online 'cause I haven't done it.

I also am having a hard time finding a guide for my keyboard. I found some for macbooks but knowing how apple likes to be special I think it might be different.

Right now I have a gforce 550ti. I'm looking at upgrading my graphics card in order to play ARK, and also make dota look as pretty as possible. The options available are overwhelming so I feel like I am grabbing blindly. The MSI GeForce GTX960 is within my price range. Will it do what I hope? For 300 bucks are there better options?
The rest of my computer is a 2011 or 12ish i7 / 16 GB ram. Anything I should be aware of or haven't thought about?

GTX 960 is okay but the price to performance ratio is pretty bad so I would suggest the GTX 970. GTX 970, or Radeon 390, or GTX 770/780 are pretty good.
Uhh, as for your system, it's fine but if you don't have an SSD, you should consider getting one and putting your OS on it.

ARK runs completely terribly no matter what hardware you have so be aware of that

My Dell U2311H monitor randomly black out for a few seconds then back to normal. It happens may be 3 times for a full day using. Is it a sign the monitor is dying soon?
Edit: more info, I connect it to a laptop in a dual monitor setup with the laptop monitor itself. When my Dell monitor black out, my laptop screen is still normal. So my guess is either the something wrong with the Dell monitor, or the cable may be.

Are there any cheap "tenkeyless" mechanical keyboards with red or brown switches out there? I'm not interested in the premium stuff, I want to pay up to like $90 tops. It's for a secondary PC.

I got the coolermaster quickfire rapid i (I think it's the exact name), it's got brown switches, costs around 80 euros if I recall correctly and it's great. The only downside is the cable that really sucks (you can disconnect the cable on the keyboard side, but the cable isn't straight, it does a 90° angle and points towards the mouse, which leads you to sometimes hit it and in my case momentarily disconnect the keyboard), however you can buy a straight micro usb cable to replace it if you have the same issue. The build quality of the board is otherwise great and I love it.
