You can buy yourself a pwm fan splitter (it's 4 pin, so it's pwm, which means the fan's speed can be controlled by the computer through the BIOS) and plug that in. This should allow you to run 2 case fans without any problem. Fan splitters cost a few €/$. Well, first open up the PC and check where you can still install fans and what size they can be. 
The size mentioned in the name of the fan, that's talking about the size of the frame. If you measure the mounting holes in the metal of your case, if you find they are 105mm distance, that's for a 120mm fan. If you measure 82mm distance, that's for a 92mm fan.

Does anyone have recommendations regarding buying used components? It seems that the mining craze is dying down and now there are a lot of cheap 7950s flooding the market.
I'm trying to game on 3x 1440p and getting a second 7950 is cheaper than buying a minidisplayport->dual link DVI or selling my existing 7950 and upgrading to a 280x.

is 3gb of VRAM enough for 3x 1440p? That's ~1.33x "4k" res. Would you get the performance you want then anyway? Ideally you'd have a pair of 290's i think.
Do you really want to get a 5% performance "upgrade" just to run three 1440p screens on a single GPU, if you didn't run two?

I'm not running anything remotely intensive like BF4 or Skyrim. Most of my games are on the source engine. Right now I have two with one set up for gaming and then when photo editing the dual screen comes in very handy.
Will 2x 7950s be unable to handle this kind of gaming across 3x 1440p?
Right now I have a 1080p display that runs off of the integrated for Skype/IRC/browser windows while doing work on the right two 1440p displays. The reason I'm asking about upgrading is because I can pick up a 3rd 27" for $200 and offload my 1080p for $90 to pay $110 for more screen real estate and aesthetic uniformity.

You're using 550kbit video bitrate.. That should probably be ~2000-3500, without a custom buffer size.

Two would probably be fine (i'm not really sure with huge resolutions, >5x what mainstream is) but you should have enough connectors on those two to not have to worry about it(?)

If they are, they're probably compressed before downloading too. And either way, they'd be uncompressed into the same game files before being used

Seems to be something weird going on with permissions in Windows 7. I can't delete my windows.old folder, because there are some folders left that deny me access to delete. I apparently I have to take ownership one by one, but then I have to take ownership of each subfolder one by one too...why can't I just delete these folders???????????
I want to completely free up access within program files x86 if possible. I installed a work-related program that is hung up and I have a feeling it has to do with Windows 7 security...
I tried turning down UAC the whole way but that didn't help. In fact it seemed to further restrict my access within windows.old...

Hi quick question:
I recently broke my iphone 5 and got a galaxy S4 (GT-9502, the exynos-octa dual-sim version). I've just rooted the phone, removed all the bloatware and installed play store and other google stuff.
I would like to upgrade to the newest version of Kitkat (4.4.2?), as I'm just on 4.2.2 right now. I don't mind TouchWiz, so can I just upgrade through the automatic update option in my phone settings? Is it going to restore all the carrier and samsung crap again upon the upgrade completing?
Alternatively, would it be advisable to install a good custom ROM? (Don't have any knowledge/experience in doing this).

I'm having problems watching streams ever since updating adobe flash player. Every stream I go to just says "loading video..." and then it never loads. Internet is fine, speeds are normal and everything. Not sure what the problem would be besides adobe.
