I'm just playing around with OBS and Twitch, and I noticed that whoever is viewing my stream hears my music a LOT louder than how I hear it. So like if a song I'm listening to is barely audible for me, what I output is much louder and is very audible. How do I make it so what I hear = what comes out?

So your music and game sounds are level for you, but music is way louder on the stream?

Yeah, so if the sounds are level for me, they are way loud on stream. If the sound is quiet to me, they are level to the stream. pretty much there is some positive offset/boost I'm not sure how to control (or where it's coming from).

Try putting your volume slider to 100% and adjusting your speakers / headphone volume accordingly.

If that's fine, then you just adjust the volume slider in OBS down or turn your own speakers up. What's important to the stream is not the volume % shown on your sound mixer -- you can hit your mute button and the stream will still hear what would otherwise be playing. Try putting your volume slider to 100% and adjusting your speakers / headphone volume accordingly. Oh wow I'm dumb. Very very dumb. Totally forgot volume could be adjusted on the UI. gg thanks! i miss clicking on your name on the sidebar btw ![]()

keep getting internal error 2755. 1632 java at AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\jre1.7.0_51\jre1.7.0_51-c.msi" i found this https://www.java.com/en/download/help/error_2755.xml and tried the offline install and it still isnt working. I do not have any kind of antivirus that would be blocking this?

![]() What does this actually mean and should i be doing anything about it? ^.^ Something to do with wear-leveling (and will probably die soon?) but i heard a lot that longevity was not at all a concern for modern SSD's (or i would have been much more aggressive with avoiding load)

Scroll to the very end of the first post in this thread and look at the last two graphs: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?271063-SSD-Write-Endurance-25nm-Vs-34nm Look at that blue coloured section of the bars and the green colour. The number you are looking at reaching 100% might be that blue section in those graphs. + Show Spoiler + When I thought about avoiding being aggressive regarding load, I eventually ended up deciding that I bought the SSD as a tool to get the PC to run faster. If I'd start putting the page file on the HDD and whatnot, I'd take part of the SSD's use away. If that means it'll die, I guess that's how it'll be. If you don't do it yet, you should look into running backups automatically on a schedule in the background so that it won't feel like an effort. That can work great for you because an SSD is tiny and fast in comparison to an HDD. The images don't need much room on a target HDD, and the slow HDD limits the speed naturally so you won't notice anything in the foreground on the PC. The third party backup tools can complete an incremental backup in minutes, so even doing daily backups is totally possible (though things like incremental backups are never in the free versions of the tools). The Windows system image is suspicious regarding being able to restore the image to a new, different drive.

I'm guessing what you're seeing is that it's eaten ten percent of that number? The cells will still run after it reaches 100%. It's counting DOWN, not up ~.o Interesting on the graphs, thanks. Running out of ~estimated writes in two or three years of light use was concerning, as i always heard that with a decent SSD it wasn't a real factor. Made me question what "light" use actually is (some people have their systems on a couple hours a day?) as i assumed it to be regular use for loading games, OS and such, as opposed to for example frapsing 200-400MB/s of data to the drive for 6 hours a day

EDIT: I looked around some, and that would not make sense as that 10% judgement seems to come from the drive's firmware itself, not CrystalDiskInfo guessing something about the raw value of "wear leveling count" or whatever.

+ Show Spoiler + ![]() I know i probably shouldn't have it 90% full, but as it stands, i'm only actually using like 75GB of that "128GB" (128'000'000 bytes i guess, 119GB)

My boot SSD is pretty close to yours in work time and has half the power ons (i.e. it's active for longer intervals) and it still has a TEC of 2023 and reported health of 100%. Mine hovers around 75-80% full. I wonder if it's just an issue with your particular model of SSD. How's your warranty look?

I'm surprised yours is faring so poorly. Were you regularly doing things like defragging and such that cause a lot of extra wear on SSDs? Not that i'm aware of. Shadowplay may have contributed to end, but it was sub-30% like 6 months ago IIRC. Warranty is supposedly 3 years (from ~april 2011?)
