My friend bought one and seriously this mouse doesn't fit my palm and hand more "perfectly" than any other mice even after adjust it to fit my hand (got smaller hands than my friend). IMO, you know its gimmicky when there is nothing more than adjustability to justify the cost. Its like backlit keyboards, its gimmicky because you pay more for the lights than the keyboard itself. I understand your point on preference/taste but i still don't get why people like to throw money outta of the window so easily when they can get better products for less. The PC component and peripheral and software companies are as bad as McDonalds, who have the gall to force you to eat cheap, quick, easy food and make you fat! I like my RAT. I accept that lots of people won't like it. For me, once I adjusted it to fit my hand and got used to the new size, shape, weight, and glide (how dare something different feel different?), it became the most comfortable mouse ever. Is it pointless and gimmicky? Damn straight it is. Do i care? No. In my personal, utterly subjective opinion, did I get ripped off? Nope. Anyone who attacks another person's choice of luxury items is almost always jealous they can't afford it, or arrogant enough to think that everyone should hold their opinion. Also, AlienWare vs the same hardware in a different case is rather different than two mice with entirely different specs, capabilities, and features. | ||
