I dont remember the exact numbers but the g9x (168g) is one of the heavier mice out there.
its twice as heavy as the Abyssus (70g) and adding the friction of the mousepad thats just one heavy brick ur tossing around for hours and hours straight!
I dont use a Fingertip grip like u and i also cant stand the feeling of my finger reaching down to my mouse due to the wristrest.

Like i said you're anemic :D weight means crap it's shape that matters to me if i can't hold the mouse it doesn't matter if it weights nothing.

Also that 168g is weight with cord.

Best mouse i ever had. easy of use, the flow of movement was great, felt very good on my hand until it come to press the side buttons. lol
My hands where to small for it. Apart from that it was geat.

So i got the Razer Naga 2 days later.
It fits my hand better but i still think the edge 3200 was a better mouse in terms of its movement flow as well its response time on the buttons/macros

Logitech M100. PERFECT IF YOU LIKED Logitech's MX300, Mini Optical, MX310, G1, G3, or Razer Viper

Pros:
  • Small
  • Light weight
  • Very accurate 1000DPI optical mouse
  • Cheap cost 10$+ Show Spoiler +
with the money I saved I switched to Geico

  • Basic, no extra buttons or other non essential crap (just left/right and wheel+click)
  • Ambidextrous design
  • Comes in 2 colors
  • Simple design, very easy to take apart and repair worn buttons if needed. + Show Spoiler +
I noticed the contact for the button is much thicker and wider now compared to older logitech and other mice manufacturers

Cons:
Nothing so far. The only forseeable thing is that it's too light for some users. Or the mousewheel doesn't roll/slide like some other mice. It clicks which are both good things imho.
And doesn't come with a PS/2 Adapter or drivers (who cares?)

PS- DO NOT GET THE M110 IT IS THE WORST MOUSE EVER

PPS- To be perfectly honest this mouse deserves more credit and it's own thread based on how good it is and how cheap it costs. Especially since we have all these new school gamers buying 50-100$ mice trying to go pro and shit. I bought 4 of these for cheaper than 1 of those and I'll have backups for years and years when the mice are inevitably discontinued.

I'm going to read through this thread shortly, in the meantime could someone suggest mice that I should use. I've only used Logitech mice my entire life, I'm up for a change but I won't go out of my way.
I've used g5 M518 etc. All fantastic.
What is the g500 like?
Wishing you well.

I just recently switched from my old MX518 to a DeathAdder and I absolutely love it. I have big hands (of the piano fingers type) and find the DeathAdder to be significantly more comfortable (even though I still think the MX518 is awesome). I'd highly recommend it. It's ergonomics makes it a great mouse for people used to Logitech mice (which tend to cater to a very specific ergonomic style).

TL I need some help. I have posted in this thread and given much praise to the SS Kinzu, and I stick by my statements. When the sensor is working, the mouse is amazing. Feels great, and works well for RTS'. I like the roccat brand and how most of their items look, but I have never actually had one of their mice. I would like to buy the kova at some point soon since my Kinzu is dying, but I want to know what other mice feel like the kova or what other recommendations people have.

Whoa this thread is totally awesome. Should be stickied IMO Now we just need one for keyboards and this subforum might have less mouse/keyboard threads everyday.

There is a major thread, like this one, for keyboards as well.... Anything tech, already has one.

Same as I think of my Rat7. Looks like a trainwreck, but I still like the thing. Although I must say, if the aesthetics matched the weight, it would look less like optimus prime and more like a cinder block.

I jsut picked up the G9x yesterday. I am currently using a SteelSeries XAI and have used a logitech mini optical in the past. I Was looking for something smaller (th xai is HUGE) but with the technology of the xai. So far the g9x with the precision grip is exactly what i wanted.

As far as weight i held the xai and the g9x yesterday and they feel about the same (no weights in the g9x obvisously). They are both slightly heavier than the logitech mini. The g9x is about 20mm shorter than the xai and with the precision grip it is noticeably smaller in depth.

I also like the clickiness of the buttons on the g9x vs the xai. The xai right click always felt stiff to me.

Can anyone with the Logitech M100 tell me if the sensor goes crazy if you move it around too fast, like on the LMO?

Id be too afraid to use that... I'd be scared that it would transform when I touch it... What are those little knobs for?

The big one on the left is the thumb scroll (almost universally unsupported for actual side to side scrolling). The rest is all for adjusting it. You can change the angle of the left side, move the left side forward and backward, move the palm rest forward and backwards, change the palm rest for different height, change the right side for grip, remove the weights...

Really comfortable, although the base weight is rather heavy. My old MS Sidewinder I had added all the weights possible, and this was heavier after removing all the weights.

I've used these mice in order: logitech g5, razer death adder 3.5g, intellimouse explorer 3.0, and then the logitech g9x. I bought the g9x right around the time sc2 was released. I've used the g9x for sc2 a lot and it is a really nice mouse but last week I changed back to the intellimouse explorer and it has been a really good mouse so far. it's a lot lighter than the g9x and is as accurate as I need it to be. Only drawback on it is that when I'm playing on my 1920x1080 screen, I need to use 97% sensitivity ingame. I think people have said that this mouse doesn't have enough DPI but I think it's alright since it has a really accurate sensor and I haven't changed the windows pointer speed from 6/11. I'm planning on buying the Zowie MiCo when it comes out next month. Just gotta find a retailer/seller from the US.

I am disappointed in the fact that you did not include Intellimouse 3.0 in the Microsoft part of the list.
A game where the first thing you do is scout with a “worker”. Does that make any sense? Who scouts with a “worker”? That’s like sending out the janitor to perform recon, what general would do that? Retarded game.
