I clean my mousepad with a toothrbush and hot water now and then, and the mouse is immortal. Its been to lans, thrown around, dropped, you name it. Invincible. The logo and paint is wearing off from use, but it tracks just as well as it always has.

You might check out the CM storm spawn if your a fan of the g9x it's better in every way, still being made, and dirt cheap. I have both mice and they are the same size for the most part but the spawn is shaped better, has a better sensor, has much better feel and is the most comfortable claw grip you can get. I'm not using it now but that's because I wanted a larger mouse so I switched to the Zowie FK. The spawn is defiantly for small hands. Spawn isn't available in many places There is however a heavily rumored spawn v2 with hopefully well implemented avago3310 ![]() On January 25 2014 09:02 speakerbox wrote: Been using my Logitech MX518 and SteelSeries QcK+ combo for 6 years now. Haha my deathadder does not seem to want to die either, seems weird because so many people report them having issues

It was definitely worth the wait though, I never thought a mouse could fit my grip style so perfectly. EDIT: The wait being the 3+ week shipping time (although the site I ordered from offered free shipping!).

Something that's like ~65mm x ~120mm x ~35mm. Apart from the Razer Deathadder and the Razer Lachesis

Kind of at a loss since I don't want the 50$ FK to go to waste.

+ Show Spoiler + You might find something similar that works for you, something very simple that just needs half a minute of time and isn't annoying.

The g400 I understand since the shape is completely different but the Kana/Sensei are very similar shapes and I grip all 3 mice the same way. Could it be I just started getting hand pain from over use in general around the same time I bought the FK? Kind of at a loss since I don't want the 50$ FK to go to waste. Is the Zowie lighter than the other mice?

Only claw grip that I don't cramp up on is the spawn. When I use the g400s I'm not using a claw grip but a fingertip grip. Edit: or maybe it's the switches are stiffer than your use to? Hanso switches are harder to press.

It's pricey, I got it only because I got spare cash after selling my PS3 and wanted to get a new mouse. The design is amazing. (sadly I lost the side grip which had different design) when I got it from the JB hi fi, the cashier couldn't believe it's a mouse. Heavy. Not too heavy by any means, but it is heavier than deathadder. It's not adjustable so it might not suit everyone. not THAT much customization. I have a large hand and while deathadder suits my whole palm pretty well since it is quite high up at the back, I find ouroboros a bit too "short". But it provides enough to let me find a comfortable way to hold the mouse too. Great holding feel. The material is great, I love holding the mouse. Deathadder was a bit too plastic imo. Great wireless mode. I think this is one of the few mouses that I don't mind playing in wireless mode. very responsive. A lot of macro keys, you can adjust dpi on the fly or just set it to anything using the software. In short: Not worth the price but a damn good mouse. I replaced my deathadder with it and i didn't thought it would be possible, but it is. Get it if you wanna be flashy and have good amount of cash

I'll mainly be playing dota 2 and csgo. Has anyone tried any of these mice and had any problems? How are the sensors?

Palm user, looking for something with fairly light actuation force. It needs to have accurate tracking at 800dpi, no angle snap and 5 buttons. I have a hard mouse pad so anything that doesn't work well with it is out. Price isn't a huge factor so long as it is reasonable.

I've been trying to get a Razer Diamondback for years... It seems like such a wonderful mouse. It's a shame Razer discontinued it. :/ Well, I've been thinking about the Steel Series Sensei or the Razer Taipan. Perhaps even the Razer Abyssus... (I use claw grip by the way). I'd appreciate any input. ![]()

I have a Death Adder, and while it's nice and has endured over two years of frequent use, I can't stand how stiff its left click is. The right click is really soft and comfortable, especially in comparison to the left click. I have no idea why Razer made its left click this way. It seriously tires my right index finger. It's very big mouse, awesome for all grips, although I think it's optimized for Claw Grip usage. The top, silver color gets quite dirty and wears pretty quick, however If you wipe a washcloth around it softly once in a while the dirtyness isn't so bad and the small wearing isn't that big of a deal, especially when you play because obviously, you're not looking at it. Good mouse, but not worth the 70 euros I laid down for it.
