The death adder looks nice though think I want to get myself a Lachesis, but it's pretty expensive and I'm pretty broke at the moment. I'm thinking of just getting an intellimouse for right now until I can afford one of these babies and a nice new keyboard at the same time. It's on Amazon for $18.95 right now. New Egg also has an OEM version for $16.99. I'm not sure what the difference is with the OEM version, if there even is any.

For real though...this is the best designed mouse I've laid hands on. Top buttons feel great. Scroll wheel feels great. Side buttons are superior to any other mouse I've tried. With my Razer Copperhead(which I palm), or certain logitech mice, my pinkie tends to drag on the mousepad surface, or sometimes get pinched between the mouse and the pad. The grooves on the CM Storm Spawn, conversely, cradle my hand/fingers perfectly in what I would call a low profile claw grip. Highly recommended! Good luck and have fun.

CM Spawn looks cool, and there are a lot of pretty positive reviews for it too. Looks like it was specifically designed for gamers in your situation. I added it into the OP.

Based on their other products I'm guessing that it's going to be like 50-60 euro which is like $65-$78 so a bit on the pricy side.

Currently using the classic gaming mouse g1, and loving it. Might switch to razer abyssus sometime, that mouse is good, or deathadder if it isn't too big compared to the abyssus. Haven't tried deathadder yet, only abyssus.

I'm not all tech savvy like you guys ![]() I have the Razer Abyssus. I too have been researching my ass off to find the perfect mouse to play SC2 and the abyssus seems to work for me. 1. The Razer Abyssus is mostly for Claw/finger grip style mouse. I have small hands and if you do as well, you will like the abyssus. 2. The Abyssus comes with dpi settings from 450 - 3200. The switches are 450/1800/3200. 450 is a bit too slow for my 24" monitor and 3200 is a bit too fast so I chose the 1800 dpi settings and it feels great. (There is also a polling rate switch from 125 to 1000) 3. There's a noticeable problem with the Abyssus, which the folks from esreality.com told me about. They recommend different mouse pads when using the Abyssus to prevent jitter. 4. One freaking thing I hate about the abyssus are the led lights on the mouse. Turn your computer off and the led lights are still on so it bugs you when you sleep. I chose the Abyssus over all the other mouses because I've been hearing bad things about the kinzu, and the rest are too big for my hands. What's a must for me in a mouse is comfort, and so far the Abyssus fits perfectly in my hands.

And the Spectre is a laser which isn't good for FPSes. Or you can just get a G400 or MX518 100% Solid

Think I will just buy the zowie mico also and see if that one is any better, even thos 1600 dpi on that mouse is supposed to be bad I think that the shape of the mouse is the most important.

The closer the fingertips is to the table the better precision you will have imo. Iw been looking for a replacement for my old MX518 for my really big hands and palm grip. it's pretty cool, but you don't have dpi changes or macros like new mouse have, anyway its a big and solid gaming mouse, had one for like 5 years...

Addition to what I wrote about the roccat kova+ in case someone is thinking of buying it. The mouse wheel dont really work on any polling rate except 1000hz. It is bugged on 500hz and 250hz. Seems to work fine on 1000hz so far though :p And it seem a common problem after a quick google search.
