There were a few Aussie Korean guys who posted here that they played on Korean servers. I can't imagine the lag would be worse than SEA.

Just so you know, when i say 54Mbps and 5.5Mbps~32Mbps, i am refering to the speed indicated in the wireless network connection status, which is not the same as the internet speed. With my level of internet, i should be abled to play dota on battlenet easily, but i get kicked out sometimes (the game host bot usually kicks people with bad ping). I had a thought that maybe there was a problem with the wireless usb adapter or that this was just natural and that i'm just overreacting. And would i be abled to play in the korean server for sc2 under these circumstances?

Though some connections are routed through the USA and depending on your ISP it may actually lag more, than say the US server, but you aussies have the ability to choose regions between asia and NA, so you can always switch regions!

You can get a taiwanese account following these instructions (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=243084), which is basically the same as a kr account now since their ladders have merged.

Open up CMD (command prompt) type without the inverted commmas "tracert kr.logon.battle.net" The last 3 packets sent are going to be fairly indicative of your latency whilst playing on the KR server.
