Going to repost this as a topic on its own to get some help
I just got the Razer Deathadder Respawn for my iMac and have encountered a problem that I hope someone on TL might help me solve. After installing the official Razer drivers and maxing the sensitivity the pointer still moves rather slow. If I look at the mouse settings on the mac itself, the pointer speed is set to the lowest possible. I can adjust it here but it will reset to the low settings when restarting the iMac. Does anyone know what can be done about this or a way to work around it? I tried using the mouse without the drivers but with the same result.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Hoping for some feedback

I bought a Deathadder and had kind of similar problems; no matter how much I adjusted the settings, the mouse acceleration was still awful, and it just didn't feel like it handled smoothly. I think that whatever drivers Razer uses for Mac just aren't that good.
I ended up returning it, and getting a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer. It's much cheaper, minimizes mouse acceleration, and just handles better in Mac OS X.

Same here. First I had a lot of problems with the speed and then on my new iMac it won't select a word or line properly at all. I love the feel/click of the mouse but it's pretty much impossible to use.

Uninstall the drivers and just set the sensitivity on the iMac preferences to high. That's what I did.
