2 computer setup to stream ladder matches?

I have 2 fairly fast computers and if possible I'd like to convert the second computer into a slave that receives & streams ladder matches so I don't have the delay livestreaming directly causes (not to mention procaster crashing randomly). Does anyone know if there is a way to do this? The only way I can think of is my gpu sending to my monitor I'm playing on as well as a signal to the slave computer that has a DVI or VGA input card (if that exists) with procaster running... but maybe that is crazy and impossible.

Maybe I'm thinking about this all wrong though... has anyone experimented with this type of thing? I just can't figure out the keywords to google search it.

edit- Maybe the computer I'm gaming on could output to my monitor DVI and also output a duplicate signal HDMI to this device which could convert the signal to analog then the second computer could have an old analog tv tuner card ...? It would at least be flawless speed on the computer I'm playing on, just hard to say how crappy the livestream would look rebroadcasting the analog signal...

there are "VGA2USB" adapters, or VGA capture PCI cards, that you could use to receive the sc2 computer feed and then record/stream. Google comes up with a few, I have not experienced with any of them, but first you have to make sure your video card is capable of putting out the game on 2 different DVI/VGA ports in clone mode.

that seems like a big setup just to stream games tho, id sell both computers and build a new top of the line one to be able to run the game and stream

You could set up a vnc server on your gaming pc and then connect to it and stream it from your slave pc.

Idk if its the best of ideas tho.. It should make streaming easier on the HDD (which from my experience is the bottleneck when you are recording video.. perhaps its not the same when you are encoding it and not saving it losslessly) but it would stress your CPU a lot.

Even a $4,000 ultimate pc will lag with livestream running. I would think having VNC running would make it lag even worse than procaster... hmm

You have the basic idea, OP. Get a capture card, send output to the second computer.

Bumping my old thread- was just wondering if anyone has done this type of setup or knows of websites where this has been done (my couple minutes of Google searching didn't find any). I'd really like to know how players like HuK and Machine (and other top players that stream for many hours) are setup and if they just deal with the added lag. Even with my overclocked i7 920, $150 gpu, 6gb ram, ssd, fast internet connection, streaming adds a 5 to 10ms delay on every action. Changing stream from 1600x1280 24fps to 800x600 12fps doesn't matter.

5 to 10ms delay are hardly noticeable are they? I mean its 1/100 of a second.

Did you try other screen capture programs?

Have used livestream, ustream, and camtasia.

I'm just estimating, but maybe am off. The added delay is definitely noticeable and makes the LAN to battlenet delay about double. If the difference between LAN and battlenet (which many players have complained about) is 10ms, then streaming makes it closer to 20ms. Maybe I'm estimating wrong and should be saying 50ms or 100ms.
