mine opens up without updating (shows 1.3.3 in the corner), and at the login screen it just exits by itself but my korean client has been updated to 1.3.4, which is the weird thing -the thing about my korean client is that whenever i try to play/join a game in any way, it will tell me to restart my client to update to the latest version. at the login screen it clearly indicates 1.3.4
i remember this happening a long time ago when i first used the relocalizer, the only thing that worked was a full reinstallation, but i dont want to have to resort to this option because my english client is also fucked up
any workarounds to my problem? my korean client didn't install any update and it is not relocalized. so i think korea is still at 1.3.3 http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=138846

Once you've relocalized once, you should be able to use the relocalizer to "switch" locales rather than "relocalize" to a new one. so just switch back to your old. Very fast.

One quick question. Let say I have an NA account but have a SEA client but want to play on SEA.
Mind you that SEA can play/switch between NA & SEA.

Mind you that SEA can play/switch between NA & SEA. You will need to buy an SEA license to play in the SEA region.

Am I right?

no more starcraft the relocaliser dosn't get past the ,,battle. net ...part o no what we going too do i guess ill have too install the chinese one and try too play like that

Guys, it worked for me. from enGB to enSG..
What I did was reinstall SC2, then patch it 'til 1.3.4 and then used the relocalizer. Make sure to patch it to your original local then relocalize after.

Does it work with patch 1.4 yet?

1.4? It currently offers no support for future Starcraft II releases... You'll have to wait for the patch to go live before I can support it.

It's a bug in the relocalizer. He is checking for a patch folder which isnt present (maybe it's present in some language packs, dont know). It should work regardless even with the error msg.

This, though I can't remember which one off the top of my head.

Hi,
I'm new to this. This relocalizer is only for people who bought multiple copies of the game, such as NA and EU, right?
So if I have the EU version of the game and want to also play on NA, this relocalizer won't work for me, unless I buy a NA version too?
|
Ya LoOpiNg, you need a key (copy of the game) for each region to play on that server. The purpose of this is not to have to install a game client for each server (12gb per install).

I would rather say the reason for this is that you are restricted by blizzard to play in particular client language, if you have a licence in that region (i,e. russia - play only in russian, korea - only in korean) . It doesnt occur to them that some people may want to play in english regardless of their native language. This tool enables just that, but you still play on the servers of your region.
ps. Girlscoutcookie, the first year will pass soon since you help us all. Thx again for your ongoing support. I cannot say how many positive emotions you've created with this thing)
