Rear = Back. Yes, but the computer case does not mention if it has any openings that allow all the ports to be usable...
It's next to the Ethernet and back panel audio ports, etc. Every case has room for that whole section to be usable? I'm kind of confused what you're asking about. All motherboard ports are always available on every case I've ever seen, unless maybe you're talking about fat connectors blocking adjacent ones.

So I've been researching for a while and looking to build my first ever computer later on this year so please bear with me if i may seem nooby. Now to answer the questions:
What is your budget? -My budget will be around $1000- $1300 depending on whether or not how much I can get for my current laptop and desktop
What is your resolution? -Current monitor support a resolution of 1400x900 but will look into a bigger monitor later
What are you using it for? -Gaming! To be able to set all current games and future games at max settings or at least high
What is your upgrade cycle? -I guess I will look to upgrade every 2 years? again i'm a beginner so I am not confident upgrading often until I am more proficient.
When do you plan on building it? -Looking to build it sometime later this year around October-November
Do you plan on overclocking? -No experience with overclocking but looking for parts compatible with overclocking for future usage
Do you need an Operating System? -Yes, I will need Windows 7
Do you plan to add a second GPU for SLI or Crossfire? -No
Where are you buying your parts from? -Hmmm I guess cheapest place possible? Most likely will buy from Newegg or Bestbuy
So hope this is everything u guys need to help me out! Thank you all for the help!

@Nestle: Ask when you're actually planning to build. Prices change, new things come out, etc.
And Best Buy != cheap.

The motherboard back panel will have a number of USB ports, and the motherboard itself will also have USB headers, which you can connect to USB expansion cards if you need or want more ports. Those headers are also what you connect the front panel USB ports to. The exact specifics of your motherboard back panel will vary from model to model.
It's fairly rare to need more USB than you can get, on a desktop.

I have no preference. It's up to the individual whether they want AMD or Nvidia. The Nvidia equivalent to the Radeon HD6870 is the GTX 560 which is a little more expensive but offers similar performance.

@ skyR I'm always down with less expensive. I think I'll pull the trigger on the Radeon. Thank you for all your help today.

Why get a H67 motherboard unless you really want to maximize the performance of your SATA3 SSD...which you don't have? Trust me, the XFX Core 450W isn't going to be bothered by power consumption in the 50-300W range, where you'll never reach 300W unless you overclock the GTX 560 Ti and purposefully try to max out power consumption. The 650W unit is a somewhat better design, but seems overkill? If you want to spend the rest of the budget, I'd change the CPU and PSU and pick up a Crucial M4 64GB SSD: http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=60444
So what kind of motherboard should i be looking for?
SkyR recommended an h61 or H67 if i wasn't overclocking

Well new sale starts in like 19 hours so you may want to just keep stuff in your cart and wait until the sale to see if anything worthwhile pops up.
