With Wardi taking a well-deserved break for his wedding, we had a relatively quiet week in orthodox competitions with just two cups held. MaxPax and herO split those two 'normal' cups, while TaeJa came out on top in the Kung Fu Cup's SC: Evo mod competition.

With WardiTV Mondays taking a rare break due to Wardi's nuptials, the week of cups kicked off with Monday Night Weeklies.

The Clem vs Protoss subplot continued with Clem playing off-race against ShoWTimE in the losers' finals, but Clem's other TvP games in MNW—as well his subsequent games in Maestros of the Game—suggest he's warming up to bio play again.

September 8-12: Kung Fu Cup Monthly #1

The Kung Fu Cup returned with its first event since May, and continued its 2025 focus on alternate game modes with another tournament in the StarCraft: Evolution Complete mod (BW vs SC2). The cup was held under conquest rules, where players can no longer use a specific race-game combination upon winning a map. In effect, players must win with three different race-game combinations to win a BO5 series, and four different combinations to win a BO7.
