i really wanna watch mirrors tho... sc1 vs sc2 same race, i think:
bw p > sc2 p bw t > sc2 t bw z < sc2 z.
also, ffs just remake BW.
Literally no one who actually plays BW wants this. Remastered was perfect
no one who actually plays BW belives that remastered is perfect, in fact i belive that SB is way better than b.net, so was fish, so was iccup, so was pgtour, so was wgtour, so was game-i, so was the abyss, neo game-i even fucking hamachi games were better than remastered ladder

You seriously undervalue the power of SC2 bio T
i have a really hard time seeing how bio can beat 200 3-3 tank lines

other than half finished turn rate system making anyone playing outside of korea have terrible experience, no promised features pre-launch actually being fullfilled like 2v2, clan system, ect, rampant with bugs in UI that can crash games because you are on different gateway while whispering.
There is macro movement while SC2 is only back and forth between two bases, game looks friendly specially in using spells, fights last longer, game is relaxing for eyes.
This is a good example of how strong maelstrom vs. Z with the easier SC2 UI
Along with the more powerful psi storm...
I don't know if this is a great showcase, the zerg played really weirdly, he didn't get speed at all, expanded very slowly and stayed on a low unit count for a long time, SC2 races have a faster and stronger early game, a baneling bust would have ended that pretty fast.

I mean it seems really hard to keep all these 6 races (i just understand now that they allow you to play all races) Then, they will probably add to SC:BW, all good ideas of SC2 (it can be more interesting from SC2 to SC:BW).
Like Medivacs, Banelings, Marauders, Phoenix spell, etc.... (Medivacs has been added already), so there aren t banelings in the video that you looked.
Also if there is problem with 'too many banelings tasteless....' they have to change his supply from 0.5 to 1 and increase his hit points to allow better chance of collision. That s all...
To my mind, it will be impossible to balance 6 races, so only one race could eventually be added (ultimate goal) after releasing 3 races resulting from a mix between each races of SC2 and SC:bw
I don't really think it's interesting because everything that makes bw great isnt there (muta micro, patrol micro, moving shots, none of it is possible in the sc2 client)

You mean it s fun to have a spell that force you to split mutalisks because the air pathfinding has been over-simplified ?

I can agree actually BW is more interesting than SC2 (it s more a question of generation in fact), but it s too soon to disapprove their mod while they obviously made a significant work. SC:BW AND SC2 worked out, the only question is to create something friendly for users, not too much focused on intense micro and competition which is an issue in SC2 or being not enought flexible like the pathfinding in BW
Anyway, SC2 is so boring now because every engagements are the same that it sn t hard to find something more appealing in BW.
If you check the other videos in that channel I posted, you'll see others. Including Gumiho vs. Mini, Gumiho vs. MC (MC playing BW toss).
Here's gumi vs. Mini: link note for whatever reason he introduces Mini and shows gumiho's picture at the start, but you can hear his "ASL season 12 champion"
In that playlist you can see more. Although if you can't read Hangeul it's a little difficult to navigate... and looking back through the videos, it's hard for me to remember who was playing also, lol.
I rolled my eyes at first when I heard about it, but it does seem pretty fun.
Surprisingly doesn't seem to unbalanced yet also from watching the videos, but one SC1 T vs SC2 T was brutal - SC2 bio ran over SC1 mech.
I was also surprised that PvP was interesting (corsairs vs. phoenix, eventually SC1 carrier vs. SC2 carrier etc.)

I hope for Mutas that they increase the attack range. When I tested it in the editor a range of 4.5 feels pretty good as it gives much better "dive in --> dive out" opportunities than its current 3 range. And I think that somewhat replicates it's micro potential in BW.
i watched some games of this (from bw perspective) and it felt really weird, the pacing feels off cus the mining speed is super fast and sc2 units have way more mobility
some of the bw graphics look really nice tho (but storm should be way more clear imo)

Indeed, it makes sense

Naah storms are more easy to read like that. (because you can check which units are under storms)
I wonder if when they ported BW units they addressed not only damage and attack speed but also damage point, the smoothness of SC2 control makes the clunky BW units really strong in straight up fights.

This match uploaded today is pretty good though! SC2 T (GSL player) vs. SC1 Z (ASL player).
I didn't realize BW lings are actually stronger than SC2 lings.
I don't know why they don't just say who it is -_-;;
Devil is hidden in the detail. I m thinking zerglings skill burrow shouldn t be visible on surface by the opponent point of view. I mean, they are sneaky, i can understand ultralisks are visible, but those cute tiny monsters must be able to hide easily.

I asked on discord if they balance units with unit balance testers and they say no, they are studying scenari and if they detect a flaw they fix it. It s probably a fun tournament, hope they will keep on good work
