Qualifiers for ‘2022 GSL Super Tournament II’ will be held on November 14th
Details are as below.
■ Qualifiers Application Period
- Until November 10th, 2022 Thursday 23:59 (KST)
■ GSL Super Tournament II Qualifiers Event:
Date: November 14th (Monday) 2022 (KST)
Location: Online
- Only players who are in Korea are available to participate in GSL ST Qualifiers.
- Match schedule for each individual will be sent out via MMS & e-mail to each participant on November 11th(Fri).
■ Participation Requirements:
- Must be at least 12 years old
- Need to have a SC2 Battle.net account (cannot use your family's or friends' accounts)
- Masters/Grandmaster league players (Any Region)
■ Match Format:
- Bo3 / Double Elimination
■ Map Pool
- 1Set Data-C
- 2Set Inside and Out
- 3Set Moondance

I don't know where you read that but as far as I know in regards to the post, players that are in Korea could participate. Means if Clem, Reynor, Serral or Neeb is in Korea then they can play.

this is why NoRegret's foreigner house was so cool, it could give a chance to players to participate in this kind of several weeks long tourneys.

For eligibility purposes this works like in the other regions (save for the strict residency rule), Koreans' only other difference is they organize it live, so nothing to be signaled.

There is pretty much never live coverage of GSL qualifiers.
If we re lucky Alpha X is going to cast the qualifying matches from replay at one point, though.
They had permission to do so in the past at least

Always seems like such a waste if people are willing to do it, but whatevs. Maybe the players prefer it this way? Maybe its a logistics/money thing. Who knows.

At this point, the qualifier doesnt really hold much meaning as most players would qualify anyway. I can just name 14 players from the current player pool and they would probably make it.

Surprised more of the foreigners in Korea (Astrea, Scarlett, Reynor) didn't try to qualify. Maybe cutting too close to Atlanta (or just needed a break in Reynor's case)?

Afreeca requires that participants play from Korean soil for the online qualifiers. Scarlett, Astrea, and Reynor are all not in Korea at the moment. Scarlett mentioned that she would have played the online qualifiers if allowed. I assume Astrea and Reynor would too.

Ah ok. My impression was they're were living at the foreigner house in Korea. Thanks for the info.
