Ultimately, without seeing the script and without knowing what Blizzard's intended image of the game is I cannot in good conscience make that call on my own. If Blizzard is listening... If you haven't already, you should post some voice acted dialogue of Raynor (along with some cinematic or a mission briefing or something) and then listen for feedback. Ideally, it should be something meaningful (though of course we don't want a huge spoiler), so that we get the best sense of where this is going. If such a thing exists, then I'd appreciate being pointed in that direction. I "quit" SC almost 9 months ago now, but I may come back and play SC 2 online, so for someone like me who is watching and listening carefully to see how this project will turn up before making a decision, the more that can be provided the better (and I realize that a lot is being provided already, especially given how early in development this game is, but it's a fact of life that I will need to be hooked just like how I got hooked to Starcraft in the first place -- and despite the fact that it was a really good game, Warcraft 3 just didn't hook me the same way!). | ||
