It was August, and I watched my cousin watch a video where one race was beating the other race until the one race got this thing called a "Viking" out that beat back the thing I now know is a "Voidray."

When I stayed up at night watching the GSL in the shitty GOM player, and when incredible moment's happened and legends were made. Starcraft made me happy. And although now ladder causes me anger and anxiety, it's still for me one of the greatest games of all time. Not just because of the game itself, but the community and the esports. thanks for the happy memories guys.

I swear I'm only training SCVs, medivacs, and Mercs. Maybe it counts as "trained" when you rescue other guys? Or maybe the bunker counts??

I mostly play co op now, if I play at all, and find myself watching broodwar more these days, as I personally find it more interesting. Fun times, fun memories. Going to watch a bit of ep 99 of State of the Game. iNcontroL and TB together... good times, life was simpler and happier then...

As much as I hate WOL, it was definitely cool to go to tournaments and meet friends and all sorts of fun opportunities. I just wish to God they would've added chat channels (was added in HOTS), allow you to watch replays with friends (HOTS) instead of sync up on vent or skype, and got rid of bl/infestor instead of watching all the semi pros and amateur players move on because the game was so stagnant. HOTS wasn't much better in terms of balance and response to that, but LOTV is more decent. I love the idea of SC2, and there was a lot of great moments, I'll remember that, but fuck WOL lol

I think Starcraft 3 is going to come, Blizzard has shown they are not willing to keep tossing away money that doesn't give enough return (HoTS) so if they are keeping SC2 around its because they got a plan to earn money off of it. I just really hope SC3 ends up being the kind of game I want to immerse myself in and follow for as long as I've followed SC2. Cheers!
