Nothing to do with Avilo really, but its worth mentioning the effect metoo has had on people who already feel uncomfortable with non explicit social interactions.

I think as a society we could do more to educate vulnerable men with mental health/learning disabilities about sexual encounters. It never used to be a problem when we would just lock them away in institutions but most of these guys are out here with us and I feel like they aren't prepared for it, and can get swept away by movements like metoo because they don't 'know' how to interact in sexual situations, and its not always very obvious when you meet people like that. Often they just come across as a weirdo or a perv.

I think this is particularly relevant in the gaming scene.

I'm not trying to take anything away from metoo and it certainly doesn't mean women shouldn't come forward with bad experiences, I just think schools and doctors should take a role in educating people with learning difficulties about real life sexual encounters.

The guy needed proper help years ago and never got it. Partly because he was able to make a living behaving like a complete ass instead of being ostracised and having to re-evaluate.

How do you fix his psyche now he’s clearly gotten worse and worse over time?

Also consider that there are Avilos out there who behave like this but are charming/attractive and have positions of power.

He’s not some crazy outlier, he’s just so low down on the totem pole that he can be exposed and people believe the accusations against him.

Indeed, it's hard to find what we can do to fix psychos like this guy. And it's scary the amount of people with psychopathic personality that are stablished in power/important positions.... In fact, one could say that kind of behaviour/personality HELPS to acquire that power, always in detriment of others.
