GSL vs. The World really sounds like a scam at this point, at the very least it's 100 percent false advertising. The "VS" aspect comes with the "team world vs team korea" fight i guess ![]()

I'll instead settle for a Maru Rogue final and Rogue eviscerating Serral. Has making the ro4 would be icing on the cake.

They're doing this because they go to weird efforts to differentiate this from Blizzcon--same reason we have the dumb voting system.

but i'd rather point out how stupid it is to not have korean vs foreigner for every initial match. im so so looking forward to serral beating kelazhur, which is nothing new to anyone and then seeing him lose some close zvz series and not really learning anything about where he actually stands vs koreans

I don't even know if soO will practice for this event to be honest. Given he's retiring soon, and in a slump, and severely struggling in ZvT, and against Maru

It might have been post Blizzcon last year or something like that. Considering his age (25) and the fact that we don't have an announced format for SC2 next year, it wouldn't be surprising.

They're going to have the same team format exhibition they did last time which resulted in a 7-1 bopping by Korea. If they had the entire event being a team league and had multiple different formats with the winning team being the one that wins 2 of 3 formats (basically proleague playoffs), things wouldn't be much different. You'd get something like 6-2/7-1/8-0 for the set maps then 5-0 or 5-1 for the all kill format. The only drama to the event would be over who Team Korea sent out first for the all kill format.
