Neeb and ShoWTimE both have first round upset potential, but don't be surprised if it's two foreigners in the Ro8. That being said, SpeCial has semifinals potential, and I wouldn't be shocked by Serral making the finals. Very, very, very good bracket for Serral. Only one terran (and it's not as scary as GuMi/TY would be) and then Rogue & Classic most likely. | ||

He's going to face Inno/Rogue, two of the best players in the world and both superior to him, very likely not gonna face any Protoss players (Has, Showtime are easy prey, Zest and Classic suck in PVZ, while Stats and Neeb both in slump), and all Zergs on this side of the bracket either have excellent ZVZ (Rogue and Dark) or have recently had good results against him (Scarlett came close at Valencia). Basically besides his first-round opponent nothing works in favor of Serral this time. | ||

I would give rogue way better chance at beating serral than inno simply because I don't think inno is ever going to out apm serral, and he doesn't quite have the bag of tricks that rogue has. | ||

"out APM"? what does that even mean? i'd put serral and innovation in the same ballpark in terms of their current form, it would be a fantastic match. but to say that it's unlikely for innovation to beat serral is truly out there btw, inno may not have a lot of "tricks" in the current meta, but he uses whatever he thinks is strong. he used to 2 rax foreigners into oblivion over and over on online cups just to save himself time. he invented the hellbat meta. iirc he was also one of the terrans pushing speed banshee openings. he's not a one-dimensional player by any means, he just believes in the power of macro | ||

INnoVation is 31-4 against non-Koreans this year. If you look at since April 1st, he's 18-1. | ||
