Also since patch 1.5.0 StarCraft 2 uses streaming system, which constantly validates your game resources. If something is replaced, even with same file name, the file still will have different MD5 hash, meaning that it is already same file. Long time ago it was possible to customize some ingame stuff, liky unit skins, stronger colors, HUD skins. Everything of that was disabled with patch 1.5.0 (right before Heart of the Swarm patch) | ||
