EPTI had an idea:Why I dont use a modifier on the 1,2,3,4 and 5 to substitute those groups in a way that I can use them well?I was intenting on putting the Space button as a modifier(Then the name:SpaceShip),but it was not recognized as a modifier.So I got another one:The Alt key.
First of all,you need to disable all of the "Create Group (number) and Take Units" and "Add to Group (number) and Take Units" on the hotkey settings because they use the Alt modifier.Then make this:
Group 6 : Alt-1
Group 7 : Alt-2
Group 8 : Alt-3
Group 9 : Alt-4
Group 0 : Alt-5
To create: Ctrl - Alt - (number)
Add to: Ctrl - Alt - (number)
(Optional)
If you have camera hotkeys,I also recommend this:
Camera 5 : Alt-F1
Camera 6: Alt F2 P.S.:F1 is on H and F2 its on GRAVE(Lowko's hotkeys)
Camera 7 : Alt-F3
(Now there's a problem) If you want to use the 8th camera hotkey, put it on F5 normally leave it disabled(As I do) because sometimes you'll fail pressing the modifier and will press Alt-F4.Then you know what will happen(Close your game...).
My idea was to make something to make somethin that people who uses grid could use in order to not move their hand too much around the keyboard when wanting to use other CGs or camera hotkeys.I hope you liked it.Its not hard to learn and adapt.Leave your comments below.Bye!
