On lots of dark map seeing a blue spot of an ennemy dropping was pretty hard, and even the default red wasnt vivid enough (although we havent had red color themed maps in a while). URGENCY EDIT : holy **** its only for yourself, the opponents color does change on the mini map, looks like im gonna have to stick with red default for ennemies (-_-') Now as a random player what i really want is being able to have custom color per race  i can't predict which one i'm gonna play and i like my teal protoss but i also wanna play black terran  | ||

We're talking about YOUR OWN color on minimap, which is always green. Enemy color on minimap varies from his color, and all players will have it red by default, because noticing those GIANT RED PIXELS, going towards your base is easiest, than catching for dark blue pixels on dark map. I already said about that in 1st post and seems you even didn't read it. I think you're the one who missunderstood btw, i was clearly talking about the mini map and saying if i want my opponent to be white for example, it will appear white on the mini map instead of red while my color will be green regardless. What i wanted was for him to be whatever color i want but STILL red on the mini map which isnt the case anymore. And yes ive read the entire post beforehand, calm yourself. | ||

I think you're the one who missunderstood btw, i was clearly talking about the mini map and saying if i want my opponent to be white for example, it will appear white on the mini map instead of red while my color will be green regardless. What i wanted was for him to be whatever color i want but STILL red on the mini map which isnt the case anymore. Reverse of Blizzard bug with always being green, but for enemy? Well, I'll vote for that. But if they didn't manage to change our green color since wol, I don't think we will be able to have it on enemy player, at least untill starcraft 3. | ||

That new color change option is mainly good for YOU, and probably for allies, since I'm tired of seeing them yellow. In Dawn of War 2 my allies were teal always, in DoW1 they were blue (and in some other RTS games also) | ||

Light Green zergs are like lime zergs, also violet / purple zergs are awesome, also brown / orange / dark grey colors make them look like Feral Zergs, i.e. without team color and with just brown "wild" colors. Btw I love orange zergs with color intensity at 1, gives some nostalgic feelings about first missions from HOTS, which were actually good. On protoss all colors look meh, except maybe their original colors: brown / golden, blue / teal. Also Dark Green turns Protoss into Tal'Darims from WOL, I loved that color, it was something between green and teal. | ||

Oh please, I would LOVE this option, when I was a kid I would actually leave games until I got the color I wanted (usually Red or Green), and having the "roll the dice" option with colors would bring quite a few memories back. | ||
