Also parting lost to seed in that group? So sad to see this drop in skill from one of the best personalities in Korean Starcraft. I miss skt parting.

Barely didn't make it and took out some Kespa players along the way. Some groups I think she would have made it out. And facing bomber to get out of the group! So much nostalgia! Both SC1 and SC2 are doing extremely well despite whatever uninformed opinions you may have. i guess taking a screenshot specifically when bw viewership peaks and sc2s is at its lowest proofs how healthy the scene is...

I cannot even... 80% of the time I look, bw has twice as many viewer as SC2... And I don't think I've seen a SC2 stream with over 6000 viewers in years...

Exaggeration but yeah, bw generally has more. Though in saying that SC2 has more as I type this. ![]() But it's silly to compare anyway, that's the best of the best BW players streaming there compared to a sc2 caster and some low tier pros.

"Brood war is a dead game", You get shown some strong BW viewership numbers. "SC2 is also a dead game", Wow! Just keep those silly remarks to yourself. Neither games are dead, both are fine and kicking. If you need high viewership in order to compensate for your insecurities about the "health" of the game, then go watch LoL. Personally I enjoy Starcraft without burdening myself about viewer numbers.

No big name is streaming for SC2 anyway even in "prime time". Where BW has Bisu or Flash who do we have? Which SC2 player is that big? Mvp? Oh... Life? Oh^2... The closest active player is Parting who's invisible this year. From former active players who still stream it's MC. Probably Polt and Bomber too. From the currently active and godlike players - Zest, Maru? Have they ever streamed? ![]() Top SC2 Pros don't stream :'( Oh god, I wish Maru or Zest would stream. Whenever Flash streamed SC2 people were crazy and numbers were insanely high for a "dead game" ![]() Edit>God damn it, now when I reread it again - I do not mean that Bomber and Polt are former active players >< But that they are the closest we have in the way of foreigners knowing them and following them, jeez, what a start to this day ![]()

SC2 has an insane amount of tournaments and these draw the viewers, the time when people cared about personal streams are long gone. BW to my understanding, while having reasonably big tournaments now and there is much more stream-centered. So comparing stream numbers is just plain stupid.

Both SC1 and SC2 are doing extremely well despite whatever uninformed opinions you may have. well I mean i agree with you. But you also have to consider that sc2 is the more up-to-date game, with a larger global viewer base vs BW, since bw is mainly played in South korea. A lot of Starcraft pros won't stream cuz of proleague (THEIR TEAM MANAGERS WON'T LET THEM STREAM). also, like sure fking flash has 6000 viewers, but if flash played sc2 streams, he may well have over 2000-3000 viewers, and that's only on twitch, i can confidently say that over 3000 people would watch flash in the chinese viewerside, they just would watch it from a different platform. So don't me this bullshit about bw being more popular than sc2. Their not comparable, bw is the old game, sc2 is the new one. that's that, they are both NOT POPULAR compared to games like LOL, Dota 2 etc
