I just read on Reddit that gambling is illegal for South Koreans, regardless of whether they live in South Korea or are abroad. What the hell? So they choose to ignore the issue instead of finding a solution to educate the public about it and having social workers help these gambling addicts deal with it? I like South Korea a lot despite having never been there before and but now I'm having second thoughts about that country.
Also read that Flash brought Life to the casino during Blizzcon.

As I understand it, it's not unusual that the casters/organizers take the players with them to Casinos/clubs, etc. Responsible, no. Advise, yes. At the end of the day, you make your own choices. I went to the casino a few months ago with my girlfriend, intending to play $20 on slots and blackjack. At the end of the day cus we waited for so long for a spot at blackjack, we spent maybe $100 and lost $50, so we walked away with $50. You know your own limits and play within them.

It's bit weird, because gambling is already kinda embedded within Korean culture.
You would see Koreans gather together on holidays and play Hwatu (Hanafuda in Japanese) while betting around 10 cents~dollar or even more per 1 point. This is regarded as just a game and people having fun (except under extreme circumstances). However, if people bet around thousand dollars per point and such, it is illegal gambling. There isn't a fine line between just enjoying a game vs gambling, even when there's money involved in both cases.
And I agree that they should educate their people more on this issue.

You realise there's a difference between 'accusing' and 'convicting' right?
The Changwon Regional Prosecutor's office announced that they have arrested (Z)Life on charges of receiving money for match-fixing.
If he's been charged, then he's already been accused by a legal authority with due facts to support the accusation. Whether it's proven or not, is what people are waiting to hear about.

Hey, in Switzerland, we had the best age restrictions ever until a few years ago (at least officially, it wasn't ruled like that... I hope). A 16 year old girl/guy would have been allowed to act in a porn movie (-> allowed at the age of 16) but not allowed to watch the movie he or she acted in. (-> allowed at the age of 18)

Your reading comprehension is failing you. As I clearly said, Life has been accused, but not convicted.
Being charged with something does not imply you have been found guilty.

So you're unable to see the difference when Player A has been arrested and there has been only unofficial accusations for Player B?
