Flash was what made me stay up until 2am during high school. I always look to him for raw skill, distilled from gimmicks and mind games to be pure mechanical supremacy.
I remember staying up all night for weeks to make sure I could watch Flash dominate. No other player could have made me love brood war as much as Flash did.

I was lucky enough to start watching pro BW just when Flash emerged on the scene.
In BW, Flash ruined watching other terrans play. While ordinary pro terrans are visibly constrained by the ludicrous mechanical demands and by having imperfect decision making, Flash's standard execution was so impeccable that his occasional mistakes were more sensational than his highlight plays.
Only Fantasy managed to master terran the same way, and he finally got his act together when pro BW just had a few months left (sadly for him).
