cant get past the first big fight on brutal, any tips? edit: finally made it, after like 15 tries, i concentrated too much on kerrigans baneling ability (one of my favourites from hots), when the trick really seems to be to use her other ability to shoot down medivacs before they can unload edit2: the rest of the mission, while not exactly being a walk in the park, took me less reloading than that first fight :o

![]() ![]() So I was right when I thought that it read the save from my disk and loaded the state of Zerg from it? ![]() Nice touch, but they should gave me the Achievement for finishing all 3 campaigns when they were able to read this from the save! ![]()

The biggest mistake you can make is not attacking. You have insane DPS, if artanis is low on health, and his second wind is on cooldown, his heal is a no-energy short cooldown spam. If Kerrigan's low, just move he back slightly, she'll lose all aggro. 90% of the time in that mission, everything died before artanis got a chance to die twice. edit: On brutal, dunno if things change on other difficulties

I don't know but I had the jump, fury, banelings and something(cannot remember). Which was the setup from HotS I used(I was doing the baneling achievement(in HotS)). Anyway this was the mission which stopped me from reading achievements before the mission. The spoiler when you read that "kill with banelings". WTF, Blizzard? ![]()

I found that you have to try and run past enemies as much as possible, and I only stopped from Hybrids from whatever I remember. When you eventually do have to clean up small fry, Lightning Dash and Banelings do the job nicely enough that you're not in much danger from them. Also try and nuke (attack + Kerrigan's Q) Warp Prisms and Medivacs asap, to save precious seconds from having to kill their drops. In the third section I actually killed enemies as I went along, as you're toast if you take too much damage while trying to bring down the Behemoth. As it was, I ended up completing the achievement with about 20 seconds to spare - rushing through the first 2 sections, chaining as many enemies as I could survive with, then killing enemies as I went in the third section (when I went into the room with the Behemoth, I did a Lightning Dash + Banelings on the enemies at the front to reduce the damage I'd take, then went straight to the Behemoth, being careful to keep Kerrigan alive - with only one life she's a lot more fragile than Artanis).

Can't get past that first hard fight, where there are 3 colossus at the end.

I failed this part a dozen of times, until I started to focus on artanis' charge/stun

I always get killed if I engage two of them, as they spawn these littles golems which kill me too fast.I think this was one of the fun missions. I really enjoyed getting the mastery achievement for this mission. For the stage itself on brutal difficulty, I initially thought it was difficult until I realized the "E" button skill of Artanis heals XD Mastery achievement youtu.be

When you get to the long narrow corridor going southeast you have a huge army following you, wait a few seconds while killing the spawning spectres and a taldarim purifier beam will kill all your assailants from the back if you time it right. Very useful ^^ Ahhh :D I tried something similar and kept failing, dying to the huge army ball behind me. Then I found out you have enough time to kill everything and still get the achievement. You just have to be quick.
