Based on the official Police investigation, only the above players have been implicated in matchfixing. There is no reason to further accuse other players and teams until we get more information. Incessant blind accusations will not be tolerated. Please read the thread and the updates before posting. As of page 54 we will be moderating against match fixing accusations for players who were not caught in this incident, including those using voided Pinnacle bets as evidence. |

Yes, its like every other criminal activity. The more times you get caught, the more refined the methods become.

The match fixing was real!? I know there was a lot of suspicion surrounding MarineKing, but this looks like it went way past that.

Yoda and B4 would lose, but it should be expected. I would think that you would receive 1:5 on your money or something, making it not even worth it. Also, they were performing so badly, why did it even have to be fixed?
I'm pretty sure if the odds were half-decent, people could just Martingale against Prime or something and not risk jail time.
This was in Jan-Jun where they were somewhat competitive

I guess that makes sense. plus sometimes the game will probably end up how they voted so they never knew you lied to them
thanks

If this happened in the US, would anyone give a shit?
Would anyone get criminally prosecuted?

if the fixers end up guessing right, they still benefit. so it's kinda hilarious.

Would anyone get prosecuted? Doesn't matter, following Korean laws in Korea. Good question though.

While this is probably real and it's likely they have actual match fixed let's try to remember innocent until proven guilty. So far we haven't seen concrete proof just explanations of what they are supposed to have done. Not that I really think they're innocent, but.. yeah.

For a normal sport definitely (plus this type of betting is illegal in most states). eSports aren't as recognized in the US which makes this question interesting.

Not the thread I was expecting to wake up to...
Can Prime go any lower than this?

Can Prime go any lower than this? Considering all their players either left or are now under arrest and they effectively don't exist, I'd say this is as low as it gets.

wasn't there some NBA ref who got busted some years ago for fixing matches? I think he got like a year and that was basically it.

In America we say that... but once we see those mug shots, you guilty, even if you get proven innocent later, you prob still seen as guilty. Good point though, good reminder.
