The Team
Fight Night:
Fight Night began in 2013, and ran 11 events through to 2014, before it went on hiatus due to a drop in the events sponsors. In January 2015, Fight Night was revived by the streaming website hitbox.tv, which saw potential in the series and wanted to see more Starcraft on their website. Since January, we’ve ran an event every single week for 19 straight weeks, and we plan to run them every week until at least the end of 2015. $1900 has been awarded to some of the world best and most popular players, including some names like: Journey, Hydra, Nathanias, Destiny, GuMiho, FanTaSy, Ryung, HuK, Solar, Rain, Harstem, Bunny, Taeja, TLO, HerO, Scarlett, and many more.

Last week we announced our newest sponsor for Fight Night, Spawning Tool. Spawning Tool is a replay analysis website with tons of cool features, ran by very talented and passionate Starcraft fans. Not only can you browse through and download pro replays, but you can also see cool things like: in depth look at players recent match history, statistics on different builds and openers, statistics on abilities used, and much more.

And of course none of this would be possible without our talented crew:
-Casting by Droopy, feardragon, Temp0, JaKaTak, Sybert, and ZombieGrub
-Observing by Kuren
-Graphics by Rapid
-Animations by Sybert
But we’re not stopping there. We’re now introducing a new tournament based on Fight Night. http://www.hitbox.tv/TeamGravity

Fight Night Tournament of Champions (ToC):
Winners of the Fight Night Main Event will be invited to participate in our $200 monthly finals - Tournament of Champions. All other Fight Night participants will be invited to play in a qualifier. There will be 8 players total - 4 invite spots, 4 qualifier spots.
This new event is made possible because of support from hitbox.tv, SpawningTool.com, and OFU Gaming.
More information on this will be released at a later date.
The Players
We have a bunch of talented and motivated players, but here are a few who have been particularly active and successful in the past 5 months.
Semper:
Alexandru "Semper" Dimitriu is a Canadian Terran player who has been with Team Gravity for two years now, and is the cornerstone of our roster. He’s been making quite a name for himself recently, first qualifying for WCS AM Challenger League 2015 Season 1. He fell to Polt 0-3 in the Premier League qualifying match.
Other small achievements for him include an undefeated run in the Rival Starcraft II League Season 1, winning $100. He also pulled off an all-kill of Team MiA in the SC2Improve Team League Season 4 (Division 1).
Semper has been making a splash in the LotV beta, with two second place finishes in Lycan LotV Beta Series, and other high finishes.
Just recently he even managed to qualify for TakeTV’s Leagacy of the Ultras round robin event with some of the best players in the world. As of now, he’s started out strong with a 3-2 win over Beastyqt from TES. Today he managed to blank Axiom Heart 3-0.
Trace:
Adam "Trace” Kasparoff is an American Protoss player that also has an extensive history with Team Gravity. In early January, Trace took home his biggest LAN win at the G1K SoCal LAN Tournament, with a win over mYi Arium which earned himself the $1000 prize.
Trace also qualified for feardragon’s Breaking Out Season IV. Interviews and replay analysis from this can be found here. In the 8-man Breakout Invitational, Trace fell 0-3 to coL Moosegills in the semifinals.
In the SC2Improve Team League Season 4, Gravity faced off against Axiom-Acer, and Trace managed to take a win off of Alicia.
SirRobin:
Robbie “SirRobin” Switts is an American Zerg player, recently acquisitioned by Gravity. He is formerly of FXO NA, but went inactive after their disbanding. In late 2014, he began playing seriously again and working on his stream. He is a charismatic and talkative player that exudes confidence.
He streams regularly with detailed commentary and analysis, and even hosts a free coaching event twice a week, called Sir Robin's Squire School. Every 2 weeks on Sunday he offers free 20 minute coaching sessions to players of any league during the 6 hour stream.
He’s been playing very well recently, and we hope to see him on the TeamLiquid.net featured streamer list in the future.
Our full roster can be found here.
New Faces
In the past couple of weeks, we’ve made big improvements to our roster with 3 recent acquisitions.
