GOAT is already Life, but Mvp has the strongest claim to bonjua competing against a much much weaker field than Life is right now.

One of the most consistent players in GSL history plus #6 in overall earnings so he must be doing something right.

On a different note, Stephano definitively deserves a place on that list, he defined the Meta on more several occasions and beat many of the world's best players while doing so.

It's hard to tell that the greatest is happening right before your eyes. Only when it has passed do we usually say he or she was the best. As of today, the greatest would probably be MVP and then Life. when it's all said and done, Life will have passed MVP in this kind of list, maybe along with other players (Maru?).

Nobody will pass Mvp, just like nobody will pass BoxeR in Broodwar.

except that was a joke because the guy had 2 guys extra and sos who is confirmed to be 16th, thus 3 of them are definitely not top 10.

you could also argue that Mvps achievements were far more impressive because the meta wasn't figured out when he was succesful and he had to innovate much more than life to win his tournaments.

rofl you realise what you talking about? late 2012 Life was all about innovation, his unique counter attack style and clever usage of lings was something no other zerg could imitate and what made the difference between him and other zergs.

Yea but late 2012 was super stable era compared to the wild west of 2011.

It defines him to this day and it also makes him different from Mvp. Mvp innovated styles that redefined Terran itself and became common in the meta, Life innovates styles that redefine himself and aren't imitated. There's a difference in importance between those innovations.

Indeed, in one of the cases other players saw the innovations and followed suit, in the other they tried but found themselves utterly unable
