That doesn't necessarily mean a discussion should not be happening, considering it's an exaggeration to say that every post was a circle jerk. You complain about the thread being locked I say why the thread was locked For some reason you think this is a straw man EDIT: Anyway yeah no Stephano isn't going to be on the list I'd wager
You repeated the exact same thing I had just responded to ("people were saying the same thing over and over"), and implied the only reason to keep the thread open would be to get "all the answers about matchfixing". Even though I just explained why I think the thread should be kept open, and it was not to "get all the answers about matchfixing". In other words, you responded to a straw man rather than what I actually said. You did not respond to my point that the importance of the issue in and of itself is the reason the thread should be kept open.

I'm surprised so many people are putting herO on their list. Don't get me wrong, he's amazing and has achieved some incredible things, but I just don't see how he is GOAT level. Not yet, anyways.

Surely, MC will end in top 3 despite him not being on manys top 3 in here. No, he's not as good as KeSPA-players right now, and has been sub-par for quite some time now, but the amount of money earned, tournaments won, and impact on the scene he has had can be matched by close to none. I'd say the only ones capable of challenging him on a list such as this are Mvp and NesTea.
The player who has reached the highest level of skill is undoubtedly Life, but that doesn't make him the greatest of all time. A perfect example is Mvp because relative to his competition, he dominated the most of any player in SC2, but obviously he'd get stomped if he played like he did in his prime now ('cause the skill of players have risen so much).
The same goes for Pelé and Maradona. They would get absolutely crushed by players like Messi and Ronaldo if they played at their prime at the same time, but they still dominated their respective era so much that they can be considered greatest of all times.
Top 3 will be MC, NesTea and Mvp with the latter being on top.

Decent analysis but I think you're vastly overrating Nestea and how long he was on top for, even at the beginning of 2012 he was already descending into mid level player status.
Top 5 will be Mvp, Life, MC, MMA and Taeja or Polt.
