Q: You're nominated by XiGua, because both of you got married.
A: Nothing strange about that.
Q: Frankly, you're sliding and it is no surprise that you are interviewed by 'dish-washer'(laughs). Do you agree.
A: Not 'sliding', I've already GGed. I am expecting to be a father and have no time for time. I played two games in two months. If I wasn't sliding I'd be FlaSh. I've half-retired since July.
Q: So nothing to do with the patches?(laughs)
A: No. I used to care about them but now it is meaningless to me. My passion for SC and zerg is declining. I've chosen this race expecting fierce offence, just to discover the opposite, so I hardly play now. And I am soon to be a father and it is too hard to feed the baby by simply playing the game. I am nearly 30 and need to be more realistic.
Q: But you still have a special style. You are Chinese King of the Roaches?
A: I like work out strategies and play styles. Long games and fundamentals are not what I'm good at. The title 'King of the Roaches' should be left to XiGua. Roaches are kind of comic. Please call me Facile Sage.
Q: But when people do roach cheese they still shout your name.(laugh)
A: They're just teasing. They all say shouting my name could give their roaches extra +3 attack. If it is true, I'd use a broadcaster to play it. And actually +1 attack is enough.
Q: A lot people may wonder the origin of your nickname(No zong, or Command No).
A: When I started to play StarCraft 3 years ago I first used 'Nostalie', meaning of which I don't know about either. It is just random letters.
Q: 'Kill Huang Xudong(Translator: ColourFirst, or Xiaose, a Chinese caster, appears frequuently with MsJoy or F91)' and 'My name is Qian Zanqi' are most popular slogans this year, which is better?
A: Don't trap me(laugh). These are slogans created and shouted by some comedians(Translator: referring to Xiaose, MsJoy and F91) first. I'm no comedian so I don't comment.
Q: Why do you like roaches?
A: Easy and effective. Don't you feel good about trumping on somebody else's face?
Q: You say you're a sage; apparently we don't agree.
A: Can't roaches explain everything? It has high HP but also smart. (laugh)
Q: Bravery and smartness, which is more important?
A: Were equally important, but patches.......Spine+spore+viper is the only solution.

Q: Now let's talk about your family. How would your wife fall a SC player.
A: I didn't start to play back then. I made it by sincerity. Sincerity.
Q: Does she watch you play? How does she think of you?
A: She does, but she completely can't understand. Of course she thinks of me as a Sage, she doesn't even know what Roaches are.(laughs)
Q: How did you balance the game and family?
A: I'm not a really good husband. I had been travelling between Beijing and Shanghai and let her stay home alone for 20+ days a month. I'm no longer a pro, SC2 now is just a hobby. Being in the team is just to help them. I haven't claimed my salary since March. Actually there is little difference in China, isn't it? Being in the team is to practice on the ladder, so are the amateurs.
Q: When can we expect little Qian Zanqi?
A: Next March, if everything goes well.
Q: Will you allow your child to go pro? Which kind of games do you think will fit them?
A: It depends on his hobby, if he really loves it I will. But I don't think he'll like RTS. We grew up playing StarCraft, Age of Empires and Red Alert, so I have a special feeling towards RTS. Nowadays, LOL players never know what RTS is. Times changed, and I can do nothing about that.
Q: If you were David Kim.....
A: +1 attack range for roaches, cancel Photon Overcharge
Q: What would you do after formal retirement?
A: Go back to work or go casting Storm of the Heroes. It depends.
Q: You impressed us at GPL casting with humour, any chance?
A: I considered it. But I have many drawbacks, I will if chances are there.
