He obviously wants to be the best, that's the whole point of this thread... The traveling and such he could have done in a PL team anyways, that's not an excuse anymore. This isn't 2012 and prior. He just jumped on the bandwagon to "leave for the land of opportunity". If your passion is traveling, then do it, if you just want to make tons of money, there are better ways than SC2 to do that. If you want to be the best SC2 player like he wants to apparently, then there are more efficient ways to do that than joining a foreign team. That's where my post is coming from.

Calling him a sellout is just kind of a silly exaggeration, is offensive to him, and is a prime example of being a negative member of this comunity. He has no obligation to any fan to stay in a Korean team house on a Korean team. He has no sacred obligation to God to practice SC2 in the most efficient way possible. He would not be able to travel to nearly as many tournaments while with Kespa than he could with a foreign team. And while there are better ways to make money outside of SC2, he is a SC2 player, and is invested in this career for this portion of his life. An esports career is short and players are smart to seek as much money as possible, and save it. Joining a foreign team and traveling, being admired by fans, being exposed to and seen by more foreign fans than otherwise possible, is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Being on a Korean team and practicing for 14 hours amounts to a pretty questionable lifestyle. All told, he's not a sellout because he had legitimate non-monetary reasons to leave and had no obligation whatsoever to stay where he was (nor could there be a reasonable expectation from fans for him to stay there).
